Ok, if you’re reading this I’m making the assumption that you realize that the human DNA sequence is made up of chromosomes. Now the last pair is what determines whether you are a male or a female. Now your high school biology teacher probably told you that these chromosomes determine certain distinct sexual characteristics (ex: sex organs, facial hair etc….). Yet, this is only a half truth. The chromosome pairs (XX for Females and XY for Males) impact much more as I hope to explain.

THE FIRST X: Ok now as you notice both males and females have at least one X chromosome. This chromosome controls basic functions of the body like breathing, metabolism and so forth (I mean everyone needs this).

THE FEMALE X: Now here is where things start to get interesting. The second female X is in control of many things considered feminine. This is where the love of cute ceramic things and curtains is located, the ability to find enjoyment in the movie Beaches and Danielle Steele novels is also found in here, and the ability to make complex social plans is also found in this chromosome.

THE MALE Y: Ahh the male Y. Possibly the greatest and worst chromosome at the same time. This is the chromosome which allows for 12 hours of continuous football watching. This is the chromosome that allows men to be entertained by large explosions and breasts. This is also the reason that men constantly think about sex. This is the gene that controls masturbation. Due to this gene, it is just a given that men masturbate, but with the lack of the Y, it is up in the air. (Sorry girls)

Mutations: Well these characteristics are not found in every male/female. The male homosexual can be explained by the hybrid of the X’s. The roles of the two X’s have been crossed some time during the period of cell division and have combined. Due to this, the new X chromosome is the new dominant chromosome. Hence the homosexual male has the physical characteristics of a male, but in fact also has the behaviors of someone with a double X.

Homosexual Women: Ok I don’t even understand XX women so don’t push your luck.
