Gym Leader Brock:
To beat Brock you should use a Squirtle or Bulbasaur. Never use a Charmander because it will give Brock's pokemon alittle bit of damage. Plus Rock Pokemon can withstand the heat. After you have beat him. He will give you the Boulder Badge and TM34. TM34 contains Bind. When a pokemon is taught this he will take damage 1 or 2 times. Then the Pokemon will give double damage to the opponent.

Gym Leader Misty:
This Leader was the toughest to me. So here is my tip. Use a Bulbasaur or a Ivysaur they are your best bet to defeat her. Do not use Squritle or it's evolved forms because it won't do enough damage to defeat her. Her Pokemon are Staryu and Starmie. Her pokemon can recover so watch out for that. After you beat her she will give you the Cascade Badge and TM11. TM11 contains Bubblebeam.

Gym Leader Lt. Surge
First you need to get cut and cut the tree that is blocking the way to the gym. Cut is found on the S.S.Anne. After you have gone in you need to defeat the trainers in there. Find the two switches in the trash cans to open the door. Go in and talk to Lt. Surge.
Use a Ground Pokemon like Sandshrew or a Diglett.To get a Sandshew go to the right side of Vermillion City. There will be grass, walk on it until you find a Sandshrew. To get a Diglett go to Diglett's Cave. After you beat him he will give you the Thunder badge and TM24 it containsThunderBolt.

Gym Leader Erika
Use a Fire type Pokemon to burn her Pokemon. When you win she will give you the Rainbow Badge and TM21.

Gym Leader Sabrina
To defeat her very easy. Use a Venusaur. This Pokemon is your best bet to beat her easy. Just keep telling Venusaur to do a Razor Leaf.
