Glastonbury kicks off the festival season on 23rd-25th June, with top acts such as Travis, Moloko and the lurrrve machine himself - Barry White! We'll pray for sunshine but don't forget your wellies - it is England after all...
This is closely followed by Brighton's Party in the Park on 25th June with SouthernFM. Highlights include Craig David and the lovely boys from 5ive!
For a bit of political incorrectness check out The Bloodhound Gang, singing tracks from their album, 'Hooray for Boobies' in these venues in June - 21st London, Astoria; 22nd Leeds, Metro University; 23rd Glastonbury; 25th Glasgow, Barrowlands; 26th Dublin, Vickers St.
If clubbing is more your scene then check out the first dance album of the summer - Ministry of Sound's 'Clubber's Guide to Ibiza'. The double album features 39 tracks hand-picked and mixed by Judge Jules. The first 100,000 cds will also have a Z card complete with maps, contacts and useful spanish phrases for clubbers!

JULY
It's the event everyone has been waiting for - London, Hyde Park, July 9th... Have you guessed it yet?? Yup its Party in the Park 2000. Sold out in a phenomenal six hours and 42 minutes, this pop extravaganza is set to be the best ever. Ten more top acts were announced on Friday morning with Artful Dodger, Kylie Minogue and the Honeyz added to the star-studded line-up. Find out more on the officical party site.
Also at Hyde Park, 5ive will make you get down when they perform on 23rd July as part of the Route of Kings event which also brings Elton John to the famous london park on the 27th.
If you're based in Wales and listen to Red DragonFM then you could go to their big summer bash - 15th July in Cardiff. Details to be announced soon.
July is the month for comebacks. Hot on the heels of Billie Piper comes Louise, after a two-year break with her single '2 Faced'. Over the last year she has produced her third album 'Elbow Beach' named after the Bermudan paradise where she married the Liverpool footballer, Jamie Redknapp - aaahhhhh!
Also springing back to the limelight comes Manchester's trio of spunky young sisters - Cleopatra. They'll be comin' atcha' with their brand new single - 'Come and Get me' released on 3rd July. Older and wiser the gals have developed a R&B/hip-pop sound which echoes their new found maturity. Check out their new album 'Steppin' Out', released soon.

The brilliant V2000 is held on 19th-20th August in Chelmsford and Staffordshire. They swop acts over the weekend and this year you can look forward to Travis, All Saints, Macy Gray and many many more.
Reading (25th-27th Aug) and sister festival Leeds (26th-28th Aug) share artists and boast top acts like Oasis (arguments permitting), Stereophonics and Eminem.
To satisfy your pop needs, BRMB, Birmingham's fave radio station, is holding Party in the Park on 28th August. Details are to be announced soon but the rumours are that its gonna be a wild day out.
