Interview about 'Party in The Park'

Question: Who are you looking forward to seeing perform at this year's PITP?
We can't wait to see Craig David and the Artful Dodger as we really like that 2-Step sound which hasn't really come through in the States yet. It's great that the UK scene is so innovative, when we hear UK garage mixes of our singles they've always got it going on... We're also on the US tour with Christina Aguilera later in the year so it will be cool seeing her... Oh, and we're really excited to see Sisqo... but which girl in the audience won't be?!!

Question: Do you know which songs you will be performing?
Ahh - that's classified information! But we reveal all just to you... we'll be performing a medley of our hits and our new single 'Jumpin Jumpin' which is released in the UK on 17 July.
Question: Which of your songs is the biggest crowd-pleaser?
'Say My Name' was definitely a track that our fans in the UK seem to love...and they'll be hearing that.

Question: What one word best describes your mood before you go on stage?
It's actually quite difficult to sum up your thoughts and emotions before going on-stage in one word... collectively we chose 'Ecstatic'!

Question: How have the new band members settled into the group?
Farrah and Michelle are fantastic, we couldn't be more excited that they've joined us. We all knew each other before they joined the band, Farrah danced in the video for 'Bills, Bills, Bills,' and we met Michelle when she was doing a stint as a backing singer for Monica.

Question: How would you describe your musical style?
The most obvious genre to label our music under would be R&B, however we're into all types of music and we've worked hard to develop our own unique sound. If you check out our album 'Writings On The Wall' you'll hear how we can go from doing an up-tempo, funky, tongue-in-cheek track such as 'Bills, Bills, Bills' to a more melancholy ballad such as 'Stay'. Recently, we also performed the Diana Ross track 'Upside Down' for the 'VH-1 Diva's 2000: A Tribute to Diana Ross' which, in the presence of the lady herself, was such an honour.

Question: What's the one thing that people should bring with them?
The notion to have a good time and an umbrella 'cos you never can be sure with English weather!

Question: Have you ever played to 100,000 people?
We've played to alot of arenas across the States so we're used to performing for big audiences. This will be the biggest audience we've performed to in the UK and it's something that we're very excited about.

Question: Can you give us a weather prediction?
Well, we hear that you've had a few hot 'n' sunny days so we're gonna be positive and predict glorious weather.
