"Chris, wake up! Your late!" Mom yelled. Oh no, I'm already behind on my quest to be a "POKEMON MASTER!" Quickly I put on my clothes. I was wearing a Bulbasaur hat, a white T- Shirt with a picture of Charmander's flame, and Squirtle jeans. Thank goodness I packed my backpack last night. I ran out of my house yelling at Mom,"Bye Mom, hope to see you soon." and I hopped on my bike. I rode to Prof. Oak's house as quick as possible. When I got to Prof. Oak's lab no one was there. I was sitting on the front steps for ten minutes when the front door opened."Hello,is any one there?" Said a strange voice. "Yeah, I'm here to get my first pokemon. Can I speak to Prof. Oak." I squeaked." He's speaking. Your early this morning. About a half-hour early."said Prof. Oak." That's wierd , I thought I was a half-hour late."I said shockenly." Chris is that you?" Prof. Oak asked. "Yep it's me Prof. How can I be early?" I asked. " Maybe you forgot to set your clocks back an hour for daylight savings." Prof. Oak suggested. I reliesed that I forgot to and said,"Your right I must have. Sorry about the incovenence, Prof. Oak.""It was no trouble Chris. It happens every year. Might as well come in and choose your pokemon." Prof. Oak sugested. "Okay",I replied. I then went into Prof. Oak's pokemon lab. This is where I will get my first pokemon. This year Prof. Oak will had many pokemon. They where: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Caterpie, Weedle, Pidgey, Rattata, Venonat, Nidoran M. and F., Porygon, Goldeen, Staryu, Tentocool, Magnamite, Horsea, Oddish, Bellsprout, Voltobe, Diglett, Mankey, Zubat, Geodude, Machop, Poliwag, Magikarp, Ekans, Koffing, Meowth, Grimer, Growelith, Pshduck, (The New Pokemon)Pii, Marrill, Elekid, Pichu, Chikorita, Cyndagui, Totodile, and Hoohoo. Fourty in all. Like I said,"Prof. Oak had a lot this year." "Now which pokemon do you want?",Prof. Oak asked. I replied,"I think I want Charmander!" "Okay,you may have Charmander only if you can capture him.", Prof. Oak said strangely. "But, how do I do that. I don't have any pokemon or Pokeballs?", I asked. "You try to capture him with the Flameball, speacily made to capture fire pokemon, like Charmander. There's a fifty percent chance that you'll capture him, so try. I'll give you two Flameballs.", Prof. Oak explained while he got the Flameballs and then gave them to me. " Okay, let Charmander go. He's mine.", I said determined. Then Prof. Oak let Charmander lose. "Char,char", Charmander said. I throw some pokemon food I found on the table. Charmander started to eat it. "Flameball Go!", I yelled as I throw the Flameball at Charmander. Charmander came out just as my rival, Erik Oak, walked in. "Hey, Gramps." Erik said.Just when he said that Charmander looked at him and ran into the Flameball on the floor. " I caught Charmander!", I yelled. "WHAT! You got Charmander. I wanted Charmander! Why did you give him Charmander, Gramps. I thought you where saving him for me!", Erik yelled. "I forgot you wanted him, plus you know it is first come, first serve.", Prof. Oak told Erik,"I can't treat you speacal because your my grandson, and you say how that Charmander looked at you. He doesn't even like you." "Yeah I guess your right, well anyways theres already ten other kids outside waiting to come in.", Erik told Prof. Oak," I guess I'll choose............."
