Pokémon vs. Digimon: A Mighty Struggle

Many a Pokémon trainer's eyebrows have raised at the mention of Digimon, a new Japanese invasion threatening to kidnap the spotlight from Pokémon. It seems that several fans have promptly switched from Pokémon to Digimon for reasons unknown. Maybe it's because of the 'better graphics', maybe it's because they've become bored with Pokémon, maybe it's simply because they're looking for something else to catch their attention. But, in collaboration with CharizardJustin7, we have decided to create this page, a page that will help renew the fading interest of former Pokémon fans and (hopefully) help all those out there to realize just how important Pokémon really is.

Why Pokémon Will Not Be Easy To Forget

In this case, better graphics don't matter, because what makes people love something is how close to their hearts it can get.
Pokemon has made us laugh, and smile, and cry, and feel stronger about ourselves and our friendships, and strive as hard as Ash has strived, to reach our true goals.
Pokemon has helped us believe in ourselves, and has shown us that no matter what anyone else says, you can succeed as long as you really try. It's helped us believe that friendship is one of the most precious things in this world, and that it should be cherished. Digimon could never do that, or take Pokemon's place.

For The Sake Of The Pokémon

Think about the first time you ever saw Pokémon. There was probably one particular creature who you were instantly drawn to, one Pokémon who caught your attention and became your favorite Pokémon. Just imagine, backstabbing your favorite Pokémon for Digimon.. It's just like backstabbing your best friend. Just imagine how painful it would be for cute little Pikachu, or innocent little Jigglypuff, or even Psyduck... So, please.. If you're thinking of switching Pokémon for Digimon, think of that one special Pokémon.. YOUR special Pokémon.

As you can see from this poll, the majority of the AOL members whom were questioned preferred Pokémon over Digimon.
The choice is clearly yours to make, but remember that to turn your back on Pokémon would be almost as bad as backstabbing your best friend.

So turn your back on Pokemon and never come back TRAITOR!!!!
