Modem Scilencer
1. Go to your AOL sign-on screen.
2. Select "Setup"
3. Select "Setup Modem"
4. Select your modem
5. Select "Edit Commands"
6. At the end of the line "Setup Modem String" there will be a

, now right before that, you need to put the letter "M" and the number "0", so now the end of the line will look like M0

7. Save this by clicking o.k.
8. When you sign on it will be silent

Profile Extender Directions:
1. Go To MEMBERS Menu And Click On It.
2. Select MEMBERS DIRECTORY.
3. On The Upper Right Hand Corner It Says MY PROFILE, Click On It.
4. Fill In Your Profile.
5. If You Want To Add More Subjects Then Do This:
6.Go To The End Of One Of The Things You Typed and Press CTRL + Backspace.
7. Something Like A Square Should Appear.
8. Now Type In The Subject Of The New Subject And A Colon And Then Press CTRL
+ Backspace And Type In What You Want To Say For The Subject.
9. Repeat This Until The Line Is Full Then Move On To The Next Line.

Find out if someone is ignoring you: Here's how to tell if someone has you on 'IGNORE' or blocked via their buddy list. First check to see if they are online the normal way (locate them, it will tell you if there on) if it says they are not on then try this: 1. Go to keyword PROFILES 2. Type in the person's screen name & click search. 3. Look for the persons name on the list if it has a red arrow beside their name they are online.

Chat Annoy (With out anyone knowing you did it): In a chat room just type // and send it. It will come up in the room saying "unknow // command" and it will say it was from the online host.

Manual Room Bust: click Buddy Chat. When the invatation screen comes up make it like this:
Screen Names to Invite:(your screen name)
Message to send:(You are invited to:)
Private Chat Room:(what ever room the person is)
Then click send. The invatation will show up then click "go"

Link Send (aol 4.0 only): type in<*p*r*e*=* *><*a* *h*r*e*f*=*"*U*R*L* *O*F* *P*A*G*E*"*>*N*A*M*E* *O*F* *P*A*G*E*<*/*a*>* (Without any *'s ok!!!) then and the link will show up in the chat room

Re-enter annoy: have the room on your favorite places, and get in the room..... highlight the favorite place that says the room name (ie; Arts and Entertainment- PUnk) then hold down enter and keep clicking the fav places window to keep it as your selected window.... you come and go so quick that it floods the room and pisses everyone off.

Rolling the Dice: When in the chat room press //roll and the online host will show that you rolled dice and what the number was. To roll more then one dice type //roll-sides999-dice15 and press enter

Sending Empty Text: Hold the Alt key and press the numbers 0160(numbers on the right)let go of alt then send the message.
(If you have 3.0 you can just press space then enter)

Private room through keyword: aol://2719:2-2-room name

Putting your Sn on the right or in the middle: Put your mouse over the typing text box and then click right, when the thing pops up go the justification and pick align right, or center. your sn will no longer be on the left

Fast Mail: Type in <*a* *h*r*e*f*=*"*m*a*i*l*t*o*:*m*a*i*l* *a*d*d*r*e*s*s*"*>*p*e*r*s*o*n*s* *n*a*m*e*<*/*a*> (Without any *'s !!!) and a link will show up, all the person has to to is click the link and the send mail screen will come up with whatever you put after

Letters that spell out slowly: Just put in front of every letter.

Send an IM faster: After typing in what you want instead of clicking on the send button just press the Ctrl key and the Enter key and it will send. Or you can press the tab and space bar. (This also works for mail)

IMs OFF: Type in $IM_OFF for the member name. Then just type in anything where the message would go. Then send

IMs ON: Type in $IM_ON for the member name. Then just type in anything where the message would go. Then send

Ingoring someone: Type $im_off lamersSN (after $im_off put a space then the name) where the member name goes and then you will ignore them.

Uningoring someone: Type $im_on lamersSN (after $im_on put a space then the name) where the member name goes and then you will no longer be ignore them.

Manual punting: Type in the punt string below. Keep typing this in and send it. You'll have to send it until they're off and do it fast or you might not kick them off. (It is better to just download a punter)

Temperary Freeze: On AOL add the <.H3> code as many times as you can fit them into the IM box. If you constantly do it, it'll toggle their system it 'punt' them.

Self Destruction: I like this one..LOL, all you do is fill the entire Buddy Invitation with all CAPS and leave no spaces in all three lines. Push Send and (1 out of 10 times), you'll be signed off in 1 second with a very strange sign off message. I don't know if you type the receivers name in and if it kicks you off, it'll kick them off too.

Mail Freeze: Keep Typing in <.h3>..or <.br>

Easy E-Mail Bomb: go to preferences, click the mail icon and take the check of the first 2 opitions. Then compose mail and after you send it, keep on hitting spacebar. 1. Press CTRL+i . 2. Type in the name of the person you want to punt. 3. Type in a message so that you can make the other person respond to it, Something like "HEY YOU!!". 4. When they Respond to it click RESPOND button. 5. Now get ready this is the hard part , Type in any letter , and keep your finger on that letter on the keyboard and put your hand on the mouse and put it over the SEND button. Now click SEND then type the letter again and click SEND and repeat this process until a message pops up and says "(SN) Is not currently signed on".
