I have shared with you all, that I was a foster mom for many years. In June of 1989, I opened my door and my heart to Sean. He was seven at that time. When I saw him standing there, I knew my life would never be the same. And it hasn't been. Sean was such an unusual child. He was filled with such kindness and compassion and love for one so very young. He had suffered greatly, but you would never have known it by his sunny and loving personality.. And as Sean grew, he never lost those wonderful qualitys. In fact, they have expanded. Please enjoy this short trip thru Sean's growing up years.....

This is Sean at 10 years old. This was an exciting time as this is when we were able to adopt Sean and make him ours forever!

this Sean at 12. Sean discovered his love of art and has won awards for his wonderful art work.

Here you see Sean at 14, with just the first signs of manhood appoaching.

Sean at 15.Sean discovered his love for the guitar. He and his friends love to get together and 'jam' at our house.

Sean was very active in the marshal arts and was on his way to receiving his black belt when he left for his stint in the Army. He hopes to obtain it when he gets back. Hi studys under Master larry Reynolds at the Highlands Marshal Art studio.
Sean at 17, you can see the man emerging..

Sean at 20, and he has never lost that little mischievious look in his eye.

Then, on that fateful day, the giant leap to manhood! I asked myself, "when was the assent, from boyhood to manhood..with out my consent'.....We watched him go, with pride and fear....

Seen here with John, at Christmas...

Sean was discharged for the US Army on October 31 2003 and is on his way home as of this writing!
Sean you have made us so very proud of you. But then, we have always been very proud, as you are a most unique individual! You are loving and kind, and compassionate. You care so much for all your fellow human beings, and are such an assest to this world. I will always treasure that first day you came into my life! You have brought nothing but joy and love into our lives and our lives are so much richer for having you in it! We miss you Sean, but we pray for you daily. The candles always burn. the flags snap in the wind, in honor of you, and all that serve. We realize you are a man now. An extrodinary man....And we are blessed to have you as a son!
Thank you Sean, for all that you are, and all that you are yet to be
you have always been and You will always be...OUR HERO!
