Pokemon Stadium is a very popular N64 game and about 75% of the people who own a 64 has the game. Here are some useful tips for the game, if you have any send them to sk8erangel1234@aol.com!
Doduo and Dodrio Game Boy
Once you beat the Master Ball in the Poke or Prime Cup, you'll receive the Doduo Game Boy. With it, you can play at the Game Boy Tower at twice the normal speed. If you finish the Master Ball in both cups, you'll get the Dodrio Game Boy, which goes 4 times the normal speed.
Pokemon Presents
Whenever you finish the Gym Leader Castle in round 1 or 2, you'll be rewarded with a relatively rare pokemon. These range from the three pokemon you choose from the beginning of the game in Red, or Blue versions. You can get:
Bulbasaur
Charmander
Squirtle
Eevee
Hitmonlee
Hitmonchan
Omanyte
Kabuto
Pokemon Yellow Pikachu
If you beat Mewtwo in Round 2, you'll unlock some rare stickers. Go into the Photo Gallery, then hold down the L and R buttons and move to the cursor to "Print." It'll switch to "Bonus," allowing you to print out the title screen backgrounds from the game at a Pokemon Snap Station.
Pokemon Yellow Pikachu 2
You don't have to accomplish anything to see this feature- all you need to do is plug a Pokemon Yellow Game Pack in the transfer pak. You can go to the Gallery and take pictures of your special Pikachu, whose animations are different from the Pikachu in Red and Blue.
Surfing Pikachu
If you bring your own Pikachu through Round 2 of the Master Ball of Prime Cup, and use it in every round, it will learn the HM surf. It's great in battle, and you can use this Surfing Pikachu to open a minigame in the house south of Fuchsia City in the Pokemon Yellow Game Pak.
Kids Club Difficulty
There's even a secret buried in the minigames at the Kids' Club. If you choose "Who's The Best" and beat the CPU players 5 times in a row, you'll unlock a fourth difficulty option. "Hyper" plays exactly the way it sounds-you'll have to play incredibly well to win.
Amnesia Psyduck
This is the toughest challenge of all. If you manage to put all 151 Pokemon into the Hall of Fame, you'll be awarded with a special psyduck that has been equipped with the attack Amnesia. With it's Special Rating through the roof, this psyduck is a powerful foe!
Sacrifice Attacks:
Attacks like Explosion and Self Destruct always seem to be at your downfall, but are they really? From playing the game we have found out that when you are really low on health you and have nothing to do against your energized opponent (which has almost all its health!) you should use a sacrifice attack. This way you take out yourself, as well as the opposition.
Consider Quickness:
You would often think power is the only means of winning, but its not. By starting your battle with a fast lead Pokemon, it could very well give you the edge you need to succeed. A fine choice would be electrode, most likely the fasted Pokemon in the game.
Crippling Attacks:
If your Pokemon seems to have the lower hand in battle, try using some status changing moves. A great combo is confuse ray and then hypnosis. This way you leave your enemy useless and just ready to be destroyed.
Surprise your opponent:
Surprising your opponent is often the best way to baffle their minds and strengthen your chances of victory. By equipping a Pokemon with a move it shouldn't have, your enemy will be completely thrown off. For instance, Rhyhorn with the Surf ability.
Dig and Fly:
These two moves can be both useful, and a painful. When you have the ability to use Dig or Fly, you should. As it is an attack that you can't be hit while executing. The only known way to nail someone using Dig or Fly is with the ability Swift. Beware these moves as they are highly dangerous.
Ghost versus Psychic:
As you know Psychic Pokemon have the edge over most types. Your best bet against one of these powerhouses is a ghost type like Gengar. Even thought the ghost's are weak against psychic attacks, if you can get one sleeping its done for.
