Tips:
1. Visit www.speedtraps.com and look for speedtraps in your area, it is a free service.
2. Watch for areas that there could be an officer hiding and also areas where you can see everything such as after you have crested a bridge or also that you can speed going up a bridge, you had just better be going the speed limit when you crest it.
3. Be aware of the technology police uses. Some departments have Auto-on radar guns meaning that they are undetectable unless they are actually in use (trigger pulled), the only time a radar detector can help against these is in traffic where he is "gunning" other cars.
4. When you see someone who has just gotten a speeding ticket or have a friend who did, ask him where. There is a good chance that there have been complaints in the area which warrant an officer to watch for speeders, so that would be a place to watch your speed.
5. Use a CB on the highway. Truckers have a much better view of the road and also can be in different places.
