STANDARD EXPRESS
FOR PACKAGES WEIGHING UP TO 50 POUNDS PER PIECE;
WITH THE MAXIMUM SIZE OF EACH PACKAGE MEASURING:
(24" x 24" x 24") 8 CUBIC FEET IN VOLUME.
AT THE MAXIMUM SIZE 16 PACKAGES WILL FIT EASILY
INTO A FULL SIZE CARGO VAN. SO, AT THE MAXIMUM
WEIGHT OF 50 POUNDS EACH, BY 16 PACKAGES,
THE TOTAL WEIGHT PER SHIPMENT IN THIS CATEGORY
SHOULD NOT EXCEED 800 POUNDS.
THE BASE PRICE FOR TRANSPORTING ONE PACKAGE,
UP TO 8 CUBIC FEET IN SIZE/50 POUNDS IN WEIGHT,
IS $18.75; PLUS MILEAGE IF THE CARGO IS TO BE
PICKED UP/DELIVERED OVER 15 MILES FROM
THE STANDARD RATE ZONE. (THE MIAMI AIRPORT AREA).
FOR A NUMBER OF PACKAGES/PIECES GOING AS ONE SHIPMENT
TO THE SAME DESTINATION; OR, SEVERAL SHIPMENTS FROM ONE
PICK-UP POINT GOING TO NEARBY OR MULTIPLE DESTINATIONS
ALONG A ROUTE, THE VOLUME-WEIGHT FORMULA APPLIES.
THE FORMULA IS BASED ON A MINIMUM CHARGEABLE WEIGHT OF
9 LBS. PER CUBIC FOOT:
USING L x W x H (in inches) DIVIDED BY 192.
THE RESULT IS THE CHARGEABLE (CUBIC DIMENSIONAL) WEIGHT.
MULTIPLY THE RESULT BY $0.25 TO GET THE RATE FOR THE CARGO.
ADD MULTIPLE STOP RATE; OF $18.75 PER EXTRA STOP IF THE CARGO
IS TO BE DISTRIBUTED BETWEEN AT LEAST TWO DESTINATIONS.
MILEAGE RATE APPLIES IF THE CARGO IS TO BE PICKED UP/DELIVERED
OVER 15 MILES FROM THE MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AREA.
(IF THE VOLUME-WEIGHT CHARGE IS SUBSTANTIAL WE ARE WILLING TO
WAIVE OR REDUCE MILEAGE CHARGES. OR, WE MAY CHARGE MILEAGE AND
DISCOUNT THE VOLUME-WEIGHT CHARGE. POINT IS "WE ARE FLEXIBLE".

BULKY ITEMS ARE TRANSPORTED AT A BASIC TRANSFER RATE OF
$37.50; FOR THE FIRST 20 CUBIC FEET OF SPACE. PLUS,
$1.875 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL CUBIC FOOT OF OCCUPIED SPACE.
MILEAGE RATE MAY BE ADDED, DISCOUNTED OR WAIVED AT OUR
DISCRETION; IF DELIVERY POINT IS OVER 15 MILES FROM
PICK UP POINT.
HEAVY EXPRESS
FOR PACKAGES WEIGHING MORE THAN 50 POUNDS EACH,
UP TO 100 POUNDS, OR PALLETS WEIGHING UP TO 2,400
POUNDS EACH. IF FOUR PACKAGES OR MORE IS IN ONE
SHIPMENT AND EACH PACKAGE WEIGHS MORE THAN 50 POUNDS
THEY MUST BE PUT ON A PALLET. PALLET SIZE MUST NOT
EXCEED (48" x 48" x 48") 64 CUBIC FEET.
ALL CARGO GOING TO ONE PLACE IS CONSIDERED AS ONE SHIPMENT.
THAT MEANS YOU WILL NOT PAY BY THE PIECE; YOU WILL PAY THE
BASIC TRANSFER RATE OF $40.00 FOR THE FIRST 400 LBS.
PLUS, THE INCREMENTAL RATE OF $0.10 FOR EACH POUND OVER
400 POUNDS UP TO 2,400 LBS. MILEAGE RATE MAY BE WAIVED.
HEAVIER/LARGER SHIPMENTS ARE DISCOUNTED TO $0.06 PER LB.
LOOSE CARGO, OF ODD SIZE AND SHAPE WEIGHING UNDER 50 LBS.
PER PER PIECE, WITH THE ENTIRE SHIPMENT WEIGHING OVER 800 LBS.
THAT MUST BE LOADED AND UNLOADED BY HAND; A RATE OF $3.50 PER
PIECE APPLIES. PLUS MILAGE.
IF THERE IS DOUBT ABOUT WHICH METHOD OF PRICING IS TO BE USED
FOR A SHIPMENT; (WHEN THE WEIGHT AND THE VOLUME IS KNOWN)
BOTH THE VOLUME-WEIGHT AND THE ACTUAL WEIGHT METHOD
(FOR THE CATEGORY) WILL BE CALCULATED AND THE
FAIREST PRICE APPLIED TO THE SHIPMENT.
OUR PRICING FORMULA IS EXPLAINED; IN THE "DESCRIPTION COLUMN"
ON OUR INVOICES. CUSTOMERS ARE ENCOURAGE TO ASK FOR
CLARIFICATION. ANY CASE OF EXCESS CHARGE, BY OVERSIGHT,
WILL BE PROMPTLY ADJUSTED IN CUSTOMERS FAVOR.
FOR JOBS THAT REQUIRE WAITING FOR PICK UPS OR TO MAKE
DELIVERY (SUCH AS AT AIR/SEA PORTS, CARRIER TERMINALS,
FREIGHT FORWARDERS ETC.) WAITING TIME APPLIES.
THE FIRST 15 MINUTES ARE FREE THEN $5.00 FOR EACH
15 MINUTES OF WAIT WILL BE CHARGED.
PICK UP AND DELIVERY LOG (SHOWING TIME AND DATE
OF THE ASSIGNMENT) SIGNED BY THE CONSIGNOR, AND THE
CONSIGNEE (AS PROOF OF PERFORMANCE) WILL CONFIRM THE TIME
TAKEN TO COMPLETE A JOB; AFTER NORMAL TRANSIT TIME IS TAKEN
INTO ACCOUNT.
GARY'S CARGO HANDLING SERVICE IS YOUR TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR.
YOUR INTEREST, AND YOUR CUSTOMERS' INTEREST ARE SERVED
ON MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL TERMS.
YOU, AS THE CONSIGNOR/SHIPPER, RETAIN GARY'S CARGO
HANDLING SERVICE, VIA A SIMPLE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR
AGREEMENT, AS YOUR LOCAL CARRIER; IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE AND THROUGH BILL OF LADING.
THIS ARRANGEMENT AUTHORIZE US TO SIGN AS YOUR AGENT
AND TO ACCEPT ANY DOCUMENT RELATING TO YOUR SHIPMENTS;
FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRANSPORTING THE CARGO TO CONSIGNEE.
OUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY AS THE CARRIER IS TO USE
REASONABLE CARE IN HANDLING THE CARGO AND TO SELECT
WHOMEVER THE SHIPMENT MAY BE ENTRUSTED TO.
USING THE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR/AGENT DOT QUALIFYING
FORM WE RECRUIT AND TRAIN DRIVERS WHO ARE "ON CALL"
TO HANDLE YOUR ASSIGNMENTS; AS THE NEED ARISE.
TRANSEC (AS IN TRANSACTION SECURITY), DOING BUSINESS
AS GARY'S CARGO HANDLING SERVICE, IS THE AGENCY THAT
PROVIDES THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE TO SATISFY REGULATORY
COMPLIANCE, COORDINATE OPERATION, ACCOMMODATE COLLECTIONS
AND DISBURSEMENTS; WHILE BEING THE RESPONSIBLE ENTITY TO
ENSURE THAT ANY CASE OF LOSS IS INDEMNIFIED.
DRIVERS AND OTHER SUPPORT SERVICE PROVIDERS MAINTAIN
AFFILIATION WITH TRANSEC THROUGH WORKING RELATIONSHIP/
MEMBERSHIP/OWNERSHIP STAKE.
THE MILEAGE RATE CHARGED FOR DELIVERIES IS $1.25 PER MILE;
TO DESTINATIONS OUTSIDE OF THE STANDARD RATE ZONE.
(THE MIAMI AIR PORT AREA TO PLACES WE GO TO FREQUENTLY)
MILEAGE RATE TO FREQUENT DESTINATIONS FROM THE MIAMI AIR
PORT AREA AVERAGES $1.00 PER MILE.
MULTIPLE STOPS: TWO OR MORE PICK UPS OR DELIVERY, THAT IS UP
TO 15 MILES APART, WITHIN THE MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIR PORT
AREA COST $18.75 PER STOP. THE SAME APPLIES TO ANY OTHER AREA
WHERE THE STOPS ARE WITHIN A 15 MILES RADIUS OF EACH OTHER;
ALONG A ROUTE. HOWEVER, MILEAGE WILL BE CHARGED TO THE
LAST STOP ON SUCH DELIVERY ROUTES.
OUR EXPRESS SERVICE CAN HANDLE UP TO 2 PALLETS; EACH
WEIGHING A TOTAL OF 2,4OO POUNDS AND MEASURING:
L= 48" x W= 48" x H= 48" (64 CUBIC FEET).
LARGER AND MORE WEIGHTY SHIPMENTS CAN BE HANDLED BUT
ARRANGEMENTS SHOULD BE MADE 2 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF THE
