There are two trunks in DragonballZ history. We first see trunks when he comes from the future and kills freiza and his
father. That is Future Trunks ,but there is another Trunks. He is the present Trunks. He first appears when the androids come i believe. You see him as a little baby in bulma's hands. Well anyways. Future Trunks is very powerful. He is the second person to turn into a Super Saiyan. In the future he is the only survivng Z fighter. Trunks and Gohan barely escaped the battle with the androids , but 14 years later they got Gohan too. Bulma then suggested that Trunks went to the past to change history. Trunks agreed. So that was the begining of Future Trunks. Future Trunks is a very powerful person because he is vegeta's son. He is a super elite saiyan. (hes is prince of all saiyans now) Trunks is very disceplened. Unlike chibi Trunks. Chibi Trunks is the present Trunks. He is first shown in the Android Saga as a baby. He later grows up. When he was eight or nine he was able to turn Super Saiyan. This is how it happened. One Day gohan and vegeta were training trunks and goten and they became super saiyan after a few days. Gohan and Vegeta were really impressed. Ya well they should be impressed. Trunks first enemy that he fights is in the Buu saga. Trunks and Goten are best friends. In the future trunks never had a friend because goku and chi chi died so there was no goten in the future. Trunks also has another friend named pan. Pan is gohans daughter. They are the dinamic trio!! Trunks and goten are like brothers. They are akso very good friends with pan. She is like a lil sister too them. chibi Trunks is sort of a brat in a way. Goten and Trunks first fuse into Gotenks in the Buu Saga. They are able to turn SSJ3 in when they are gotenks. Trunks also Apears in DragonBallGT(grand tour) he travels in space with Pan and Chibi Goku to look for the black star dragonballs.:
