It is time for those who are his servants to fight. As Goliath intimidated the Israelite army, so Satan is taking over the planet. As David of old saw the mess and took it upon himself to do something, we must enter the ring against liberalism, humanism, modernism, ecumenism, and worldliness. Satan knows that his time is short and is fighting for his life. We who do know the Lord must put on the whole armour of God and Fight for the souls of men and women and boys and girls. Multitudes are lost in the darkness of this age. We must Fight to bring them to Christ. Jesus wants us to. and he will help us. God bless you. I believe that the greatest of all sins is putting ones self and fleshy desires ahead of God. We were made to love and serve God. We should love him as a matter of appreciation and thanksgiving. We love him because he first loved us. To neglect God and his church and his work is to live in sin. We must everyday realize that loving God is to be what our life is all about. To love God is to spend time with him in praise and prayer and to spend time for him preaching the Gospel to every creature. Do you spend time with and for the Lord or has self crowded out God? We need to walk close to Jesus always hearing His Word. As you distance your self from the good shepherd, you are in danger of being devoured. Draw nigh unto God. Get into His Word. Be faith full to pray and praise God every day. Get into church and be part of the Lord's work in this world. Don't become a has been Christian. We need all hands on deck in these difficult days. We must be anchored in "Thus saith the Lord". The falling away is in progress and picking up speed. Many well meaning Christians are getting knocked down like bowling pins. We must stand fast. We must hold fast. It is getting late. Satan is on the move. We must be vigilant and recognize and resist his schemes. Be true to Jesus Christ. God's Word is our reference point. We are not of them that draw back into perdition. Don't let the world infect your thought life. Be not conformed to the world. Make up your mind to live holy in these unholy times. We must not be overcome of evil and take on their way. Jesus said to forgive. We have many situations every day that can make us bitter. We must forgive and forgive and forgive. We must love and pray for those who hurt us. They are in need of help. Jesus forgave us and forgives us. Let us be like him. Pastor Steve ____________________________________________________ (MATERIALS) Materialism is akin to idolatry. We are warned not to love the world and the things of the world. Things can possess us. They take time, attention, and care. They also must be paid for. People often rob God of his Tithe because they are over extended with credit bills paying for things. We need to set our affections on things above. They are eternal. Things here are only temporal and will eventually burn. Let us move to having fewer things so we have more time and money for the Kingdom of God. Flee from idolatry. Sell your idols. We must turn from serving our fleshy lusts to serve the living God. The government is doing its thing Organizations are doing their thing. Globalists are doing their thing. The Creator God is grieved and angry that he is left out of most people's agenda. Even so-called Christians are doing their own thing. Just as in Noah's Day when man had little or no time for his Creator, so are we today. Almighty God is soon going to do his thing. Look out when it happens. Hills will melt. Oceans will over flow. Earth quakes will shake the planet. Take time out of your life to do those things that pertain to and bless the heart of God. Don't be on the receiving end when God does his thing. It is his planet and he doesn't need our approval to destroy it. Fear the Lord and depart from evil. Honor the Creator. Have a good day. Everyone wants to be the boss. Children want to boss their parents. Wives want to boss their husbands. Unions want to control the company. The desire to be on top has always been. Satan wanted to move up. Eve wanted to move up. Men have sought to get control of other men in and through religion and politics. Children want to be first in the games that they play. Sports teams want to be first. Let me tell you that only one deserves to be first and he even demands to be first. He is God almighty (Jehovah). Is he first in your life? Is it your desire to please him in all that you do? Do you seek first the Kingdom of God? In Noah's day, God was pushed aside for man's selfish persuits. God said "I will destroy man whom I have made." He did destroy man who pushed him back. He demands to be first. Is he really first in your life? Do you consider how your decisions will affect him? Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and you will have far greater provision from God both here and for all eternity. Step back and put God up front where he alone belongs. Pastor Steve __________________________________________________ SURVIVAL Surviving the present world situation ought to be a concern of every person on the planet. the first thing to realize is that if you are walking close to the Lord and are about his business, your survival is in the hands of God and you will make it. God is more than able to handle anything that the Devil throws at us. We must seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. God will supply all of our needs. We need not to worry.As we serve the Lord, we must keep our body under subjection and not use any substance that will defile it. We must remain morally pure and be honest. We must thank the Lord for our every meal and spend significant time with him in prayer. Further, we must have a good diet of God's Word and fellowship with his people. If we follow God's program, we will survive the impossible as did Job who came through a very dark and difficult situation because he remained close to God. He was truly under the shadow of the almighty. He dwelt in the secret place of the most high. Future obstacles will be great and difficult to get past, but our God is greater and will get us through. Trust Him with your life. Commit your way unto Him. He will bring it to pass. God bless and keep you. Pastor Steve __________________________________________________ Resist the Devil The Devil is real and he has a desire for you. He would like to make you ship wreck. He wants to capture you. He starts with our thoughts. We must carefully guard what goes into our minds via our eyes and ears. Lot's life was messed up by seeing and hearing what was going on in the world. He was in tune with Sodom. He ended up vexed and corrupted because he was not careful. He didn't realize what could happen. You only live one time.Don't let satan victimize you. Recognize his devises and resist them. Keep your heart with all diligence. As you think in your heart, so your life will turn out. Satan is a liar and a seducer and a destroyer. He wants to keep you away from your Bible and out of church as you will be weak spiritually and easy prey. If you don't keep God's Word going into your mind and keep the worldly junk out of your mind, you will end up a mess, and it will be your own fault. Satan is like a lion and he would love to have you for dinner. Pastor Steve ------------------------------------------------- True Christianity It is hard to find Biblical Christians. Many who say that they believe in Jesus would not turn the other cheek. They in no wise would love and feed their enemies. If someone stole from them, they would get angry whereas, Jesus said if someone takes your cloke, give them your coat also. How many so called Christians are willing to deny themselves? How many have treasures on earth rather than in heaven? Most so-called Christians are in love with the world. How many who profess to believe in Jesus have ever led a soul to him. Modern Christianity is not really connected to Jesus but comes from greedy proud men who know not God. They profess to know the Lord Jesus Christ but their works deny him. How about you? If you sincerely give it to him, you have no more worries. Your problems and needs become his. You don't have to even think about them.Give it all to Jesus and you don't have to take thought for your life.The Lord made us and then He bought us. We are not our own. Ask the Lord to take you and use you for his glory. Cast all of your care upon Him. Let the good Shepherd be responsible for your every need and care. It is sweet to trust in Jesus. We can have a peace that passeth understanding as we completely surrender to the Lord. It is to be used for the purpose of God who gave it. We must live each day to the fullest realizing it could be our last. Today is all that you have. Make the most of it. Don't misuse it. Don't waste it. Spend time with the Lord and ask him as to what you should do or how you should live. We must not procrastinate. We are not to take tomorrow for granted. It is not ours.Let us live each day in the shadow of eternity. It may be around the next bend. Make every day count toward eternity. Invest yourself for Jesus Christ. Take up your cross daily.
