 The screen door slammed behind me as I headed for the beach. Walking on the beach was an every day event for me. I loved the feel of the hot sand between my toes as I walked along. The sun and the ocean breeze felt so heavenly against my face. As I strolled along, many thoughts of the past year went through my mind. One being the relationship between John and me that went sour. That was the main reason why I went to the beach. I thought maybe I would meet some friends and get my mind off of John. Finally I found a spot on the beach where I could watch the gulls dance over the sea. As I sat in the sand which cushioned my body I watched the waves come lazily on to the beach. I was startled, by a noise that I could not identify. Looking around I spotted something in the water. It's not far out, I thought to myself. I decided to swim out to investigate. As I reached the mysterious object I was dumbfounded. In my whole life, I had never seen anything so strange. A door in the middle of the ocean opened and a shadowy figure reached out and grabed me. I tried to fight off the figure, but it was too strong. The last thing I remember was a white cloth was put over my face and everything went black. When I came to I was in a room; it looked liked my bedroom. My first thought was that I must have escaped. I tried opening the door, but it was locked. I ran over to the window and opened the curtains. To my surprise I saw a dolphin and fish swimming around. I realized that I was deep in the ocean. I didn't know what to do so I let out a blood-curdling scream. Then the door began to open......... |
