I NEVER thought I'd be going to the Today Show. But thanks to my friend Retha, I did get go...to see THE BACKSTREET BOYS. Ok I went over her house at like 5:00, blah blah, we just watched BSB all night. Her parents were taking us. We left at 1:00 in the morning, and we rode in a van. and time went by sooooo fast. We stopped in mcdonalds and went to the bathroom and stuff and like a half hour later, we were in NY. Werre trying to find the place. Finally found it. We were screaming cause we were so excited. and we saw a big space and were like OMG, were up front of the stage!! so I'm like hyperventalting cause were in front, but after like 3 minutes we were like "aint this the BACK of the stage"?? I was like SHIT, so we ran around the block to the front. and of course were were almost in the back. we couldnt really see the stage, so were deciding whether to go back to the back. But we decided to stay. So they were doing soundcheck with the band and everybody was singing along, and THEN BSB CAME!! They were practicing and rehersing. we were smooshed. We were like "fuck this", and we went back to the back. Took like 10 minutes to get through the damn crowd. so we went there. and bsb was going around the FRONT crowd. shaking hands and crap. So were waiting, were back. IF we stayed when we first got there we would be closer, but we were farther back. We couldnt see nothing. So anyways, EVERYONE is crowding in. I couldnt move, me, Retha, and these other 2 girls we met, decided to write on a beach ball. So we took our pic cause retha had sticky film. so we stuck it on there and wrote our names on it, and wrote cool stuff. and we decided were gonna try to throw it up there when they come on. So time goes by. Cant move. I was getitng so damn pissed. People were in my way. Ok so 8:30 FINALLY came. BSB came on stage. We couldnt see NOTHING!! at all. Just the drum player and keyboard player. The stage was too low. God I was so pissed. So after they finished a song everybody in the back started chanting "TURN AROUND, COME BACK HERE!! of course they didnt. and when they did(which was rarely) Nick danced to the drums, thats it and Kev side faced a little. tried to get pics, hope they come out okay. But I was getitng so damn pissed, I started crying,. I couldnt see them. and people were leaning on my shoulder trying to take pictures. So after they finished performing, everyone was screaming KEVIN!! and sure enough, he was walking around signing autographs. He was like 6 feet away, but we couldnt get to him. He was in the back, but in front where the back started. So me, Retha, and her mom left. THEN, while we were walking on the street, We seen a tour bus!!!!!!!!!!! We were like OMG!!!!!!!! and we started freaking out. We couldnt see who was in it, but we chased after it!! and bsb had their own busses, so we chased after all of them. and then and THEN, Ok this is the only good thing about today...We were at the end of the street, and we just waited until the bus came down the street, but then everyone was screaming so we ran over there and guess who was getting on the bus?! KEVIN!! Omg, we were in front of the bus, and everyone was on the side and guess who he waved to?? US!! and some other fans, but he liked waved at US me and Retha!! He was in the bus, but in the front, but he waved! I was screaming my ass off. I couldnt breathe lol. So Retha chased after that one, but I was too tired to run. So we saw another bus and we were like 'who the hell is this"? and we looked and it was 2 of the bsb band mebers and we were the only ones near the bus, and they waved at us too!! I was freaking out. So thats basicially it. We just rode home after that. I didnt like the Today Show experience that much. thats cause we werent close, but oh well, we were there and I was on TV!! It's for a quick second, but I was on TV! God I looked horrible,, well thats all! Kevin waved!! ok im done LOL.
