DON'T LEAVE ME NOW By Trisha

The oldest of the guys walked up to the desk and asked for the key to five rooms under the name of Joseph Bowman.
"Yes Sir." The clerk said. "Here are yours keys, have a nice stay."
"Thank you" the boys answered in unison.
They all seemed in a hurry to get to their rooms. Like there was a surprise waiting for each of them. Which of course all it is a hotel room like every other one have been in for the past five years.
As soon as they got to their own rooms they crashed so tired from the days activities that they couldn't have waited any longer for a long awaited nap. It was only about 2:00 in the afternoon but they had been up since 5:00 that morning. They had gone to get some photos taken that early that morning.
8:00pm later that night
Knock on the door.
"Yo Bri, you up yet!" Nick yelled through Brian's closed door.
" I guess I am now." Answered Brian as he opened the door. "What do you want?" he asked rather annoyed.
"Well I just wanted to know if you wanted to play this new video game I just got. I have been waiting for somebody to play against!"
"You got me up for that!?!?! You have got to be kidding me," Brian said as he began closing the door.
"Oh come Brian please?" Nick began begging his best Friend. "Just for a little while???" Nick began giving Brian a sad look that most of the guys couldn't really resist.
"Oh all right but just for a little while" Brian said giving the answer he knew Nick wanted to hear.
"OK cool, well I have the game all set up in my room so meet me down there in a couple of minutes ok?" Nick said smiling because he knew that he almost always got what he wanted when it came to Brian.
"Yeah, yeah, I will be there soon." Brian said a bit reluctantly.
"YES! I win again!!" Nick yelled triumphantly.
" That is it, I am done!" Brian practically screamed.
" AW come on Brian, just one more time?" Nick whined
"No way! Find somebody else to play with you I am done" Brian replied and with that he was out the door.
As soon as Brian was gone Nick got up and went over to the nightstand where he had put his cell phone. He dialed a number.
"Hey Angel is mom or dad there?" Nick asked
At the same time in AJ's room
"Sooooo, do you want to come or not?" AJ asked waiting patiently for her answer.
"I don't know, I mean I guess so. If that is ok with everybody else." She responded.
"Don't worry about them, they don't care just get down here!" AJ said seeming very happy.
" Ok, Ok I will see you tomorrow when you pick me up at the airport right?" she asked even though she knew the answer.
"Welll....AJ said slowly.
" I knew, I just knew it" She pronounced. "You are going to send your body guard aren’t you?"
" Come on know, you know that I can't go and expect not to get in trouble." AJ said trying to reason with her.
"Ok I will see you tomorrow. I have to go. Bye." She said and than hung up.
" OK." AJ said and decided to go see what Howie was doing. He went out of the room and down two doors. He knocked on a door and a young man with black hair and Spanish eyes opened the door.
" What's up?" Howie asked when he answered the door.
"Nothing much, just got done talking to Trisha." He answered. "She is coming down tomorrow."
" Really? Why?" Howie asked. Wondering why Trisha would be coming in the middle of a tour. She had always avoided it in the past.
"Well I think that she is getting to over worked." AJ replied matter-of-factly.
"Too over worked?" Howie asked giving AJ a questioning look.
" I don't know she has just seemed a little stressed out over stuff lately. I want to give her a break, and believe me it took me along time to get her to come." AJ said
"Oh I believe it every other time you tried to get her to come she always refused." Howie was thinking of all the reasons she came up with for not being able to come with them. From school, to work and than some, they never could actually figure out why she really didn't want to come.
The next morning
Trisha arrives at the airport looking around to see if she can find any familiar faces. As usual. She didn't and walked over to the baggage area. She waited until she saw her bags grabbed them and than went out the door to wait for her ride, which she assumed, was going to be late as always, she would be surprised if they even left the Hotel yet. She decided to give AJ a call knowing full well that he wasn't up yet.

"Yes can you tell me when I should be expecting a vehicle to come pick me up?" Trisha asked trying to hold in a laugh.
"Huh? Who is this?" AJ still wasn't quite awake yet.
" Well if you can't even remember what your own niece sounds like than I guess I shouldn't have come." Trisha responded trying to sound angry but knew it wasn't working.
"Oh Trisha, sorry about that, I'am. Um I mean yeah I will make sure that Joe already left hold on."
AJ put down the phone and went over to knock on Joe's door.
"What?" A voice asked from behind the door.
"Joe can you do me a huge favor?" AJ asked thinking that he was going to have to start pleading.
"It depends on what you want." Replied Joe opening the door and letting AJ in.
" I forgot that Trisha was coming in this morning and I don't have anybody to pick her up, can you do it?" AJ pleaded with him.
"What? You want me to pick her up?" Do you how early it is?" Joe asked. He was joking but tried to keep a straight face.
" Come on Joe please don't make me beg?" AJ was starting to get down on one knee.
"Maybe you should" Joe said smiling.
"PLEAESEEE." AJ whined.
" Alright, alright, you know I can't stand your whining. What airport?" Joe asked getting his jacket.
"The same one we came in one." AJ said smiling. "Thanks Joe I owe you one."
"If I had got one dollar for every time he said that I would be a millionaire." Joe muttered as he walked out the door.
"HI Joe" Trisha greeted him "I see that AJ sent his trusting bodyguard yet again."
"Yeah as usual." Joe responded.
"Well that is AJ for ya" Trisha said as they headed for the car. " So when do they leave Florida and go to the next state?"
" As far as I know today is there day off and tomorrow morning they are headed for South Carolina" Joe said.
"Hmmm. That cool" Trisha said as Joe put her stuff in the back.
At The Hotel
Trisha knocks on AJ's door (or rather pounds on it repeatedly)
" I'm coming, I'm coming calm down will ya?" AJ says as he opens the door. "Trisha! Hey girl! What's going on?!"
"I should be asking you that!" Trisha exclaims. "Did you send your bodyguard just so you could sleep in?" Giving him questioning look and knowing the answer.
" Of course not" AJ said smiling.
"Sure." Trisha says giving him that famous look of hers that makes guys melt.
"You know you have got to stop doing that." AJ said beginning to get a little overprotective.
"Stop what?" she asked.
"Giving people that look." AJ replied.
"What wrong with that look" she asked.
"Just don't do it ok?" AJ said a let Trisha in the door.
"Ooook" Trisha said more to her self than anybody else.
"Soooo what do you want to do?" AJ asked. He wasn't really sure what girls her age liked doing, she had never wanted to go on tour with her before and she was by far the youngest one on the tour. Except Nick but he was also older than she was.
"I don't know."Trisha said looking around at his messy room. "What do you usually do?"
"Sleep" AJ replied.
"Figures" Trisha muttered.
"What's that supposed to mean?" AJ asked turning around to face her.
"Oh nothing." She replied smiling.
"So, do you have any plans going on today." Trisha asked trying to be serious.
"Nope. Today is our day off." AJ said. "We can do whatever." Just than there was a knock at his door and he went over to get it.
"Hey Bri."AJ said opening the door all the way for him to come in.
"Hi. I'amm sorry I didn't know you had company." Brian said. "I can come back later."
"No that is ok. Bri this is my niece Trisha. Trisha this is one of my band mates Brian." AJ said.
"Nice to meet you." Brian said smiling widely.
"Nice to meet you too." Trisha said also smiling.
"Don't be getting any ideas Bri." AJ said warningly.
"Yeah, yeah. Any ways I was coming to ask if you wanted to go out with us for breakfast AJ. You are welcome to come to Trisha, if you would like to." Brian asked them.
"Sure." Trisha replied before AJ could say anything.
"Ok, cool. Well we will meet you down in the lobby in about 15 minutes, k?
Brian asked.
"We will be there." Trisha replied walking Brian to the door and closing it after he left. "Well, don't just stand there, get dressed and ready to go."
"Alright, alright. Im going." AJ exclaimed.
Ten minutes later they headed downstairs. When they get there all the guys were already there.
"Well it is about time." Howie said.
"Well sorry." AJ said sarcastically.
"You should be." Howie said acting hurt.
"Yeah whatever." AJ replied. "Any ways, guys, this is Trisha, Trisha, this the guys. You know these guys right."
"Yeah I know them" Trisha replied. She seemed to be staring at Nick.
"Well if you all are ready,"Brian finally said.
"Yeah let’s go, I am starved." Kevin finally spoke.
They went out to a small cafe down the road. They went in and tried to find a table big enough for all of them to fit. Since they couldn't find one they decided to sit in little groups. Nick decided to try to sit next to Trisha. He succeeded and he realized that they were the only ones sitting at the table.
"So, I guess nobody wanted to sit with us." Nick said trying to start a conversation.
"Well we are just too good for them." Trisha said smiling
"Yeah I guess so." Nick agreed.
They sat in silence not sure what to say to each other but wanting to start a conversation. Nick gazed at her as she looked at the menu to she what she wanted. He was beginning to feel sad. He never really liked a girl as much as he liked Trisha and he was sure that she was already taken. A girl like her must be. Who wouldn't want to?
What do you think?" Trisha asked. Nick hadn't realized that she was talking to him.
"Huh? I'am sorry what were you saying?" Nick asked blushing.
"Nothing." Trisha said and turned away. Nick all of a sudden felt disappointed that he had let her down by not listening to her when she was talking to her.
"Iam really sorry." Nick tried to make things right. "I just have a lot on my mind right now with the tour just starting off and my family is scattered all over the US with there things so I hardly ever talk to them. I am really sorry." Nick practically pleaded with her.
"It's ok I guess, I have never really been on tour before so I wouldn't really know." Trisha said trying to understand.
"It's ok, I just don't want you to be mad at me." Nick said relieved that everything was going to be all right.
"So what'll it be?" The waitress said coming up to their table.
"Um, I think I will have eggs sunny side up with two pieces of toast and a glass of orange juice with the least amount of pulp please." Trisha said. Nick was shocked. Every girl he has ever met has never ordered a whole meal, usually just a glass of juice.
"I will have the same." Nick said quickly, noticing that they were waiting for him to answer. Just than AJ and Howie came over to their table.
"Hey you getting along ok?" AJ asked smiling at Nick.
"Just fine AJ." Nick responded smiling back at him.
"That's good." AJ said and turned to Trisha.
"You just tell me any time he gives you any trouble and I will pound him for ya ok?" AJ said laughing.
"It should be the other way around." Trisha said trying to act serious.
"Me what did I do? I never did anything to deserve that kind of treatment. Did I? AJ asked looking at Nick and Howie. Howie just sat there laughing while Nick just continued to stare at Trisha with a longing look in his eyes.
"Yes Nick?" Trisha asked. Nick blushed realizing that he had just been caught.
"Oh sorry I was just thinking." Nick responded trying to play it cool.
"And what exactly were you thinking about?" AJ asked knowing exactly what he was thinking about. "Can I talk to you a minute Nick?"
Oh great. Nick thought. Now I am in for it. He is going to kill me for going after his niece.
"Look man." AJ started as soon as Trisha was out if ear shot. "I just wanted to warn you that she is not wanting to go out with anybody right now because she just got out of a relationship and she doesn't exactly trust guys right about now. It took me forever just to get her to come with me for a little while." AJ finished looking at Trisha

Feeling the pain. He too had through a bad relationship once and although nobody knew about it, it had hurt him bad.
"Ok." Nick said. Although that left him said he totally understood what was going on. "I will give her time."
They started to walk back to the table when all of a sudden Trisha got up and started walking to the door.
"Where are you going." AJ asked as she rushed by.
"I will met you back at the hotel room." Trisha said in a rush. She hurried out the door and down the street toward the Hotel.
"What happened." AJ asked the guys who were sitting at the table near by.
"I have no clue one minute she was sitting there reading something the next minute she was rushing out the door." Kevin said calmly. AJ started getting worried. He did not want anything to happen to her especially since he was supposed to be looking out for her.
"What was she reading?" AJ asked hoping to get somewhere.
"I don't know, I think it was the newspaper." Kevin said. "Why?"
"Just wondering." AJ said and started toward the door.
"Where are you going?" They all asked.
"To go find her."He said as he went out the door and in the direction she went. He found her sitting in the hotel sitting on a bench. When he got closer it looked like she had been crying. "What's wrong?" AJ asked quietly.
"Nothing. Why would anything be wrong?" Trisha said so quiet that AJ could just make out what she was saying.
" Well, it looks like you were crying. Was it something I did or said or was anything that any of the other guys said? I can fix it, anything, just tell me." AJ said practically pleading. He didn’t want to see her hurting.
"It wasn't anything that any of you guys did." Trisha answered him.
"Than what is it? Why did you run away?" AJ asked. He was very curious to know what exactly was going on.
"Do you even have any idea why I came here?" Trisha asked turning to face him.
"Yeah, because you wanted to spend time with me. Right?" AJ looked at her waiting for her to answer him.
She looked at him intently for a few seconds. "Right. I need to do some more unpacking. See you later." She jumped up and ran. She didn't stop until she reached the room. Breathing loudly she flopped down on the bed. She was glad to be here in a way but not for the reasons that AJ thought she was here. "I, mean yeah I want to visit him but what will he do if I tell why I am really here?" She thought quietly. She decided that she wasn't going to tell anybody why she really left. She was just going to keep going as if she was continuing on with her normal life and routine but than realized that her life had never been normal, it had always been messed up. Just as she was about to get in bed a go to sleep like she always did when she was sad, AJ entered the room with the guys close behind.
"I though t you said you were going to unpack?" AJ asked looking at her.
"I am working at it." She answered looking like she was in a bad mood.
"Well, you just take your time sweety."AJ said jokingly.
"Whatever." Trisha muttered under her breath.
"What'd you say?" AJ asked walking towards her.
"Nothing. I am going to lay down for a bit I think I have jet lag." She said lying.
"You have jet lag two hours after you arrived?" AJ asked looking at her like he knew she was lying.
"It is a delayed thing." She answered him.
"Ok whatever." AJ said giving in. He reminded himself to find out what was going on with her later. "I am going to go out with the guys for awhile. If I am out for a long time I will call just to check up on you ok?"
"Yeah I will be here." Trisha said lying down in the bed.
"Ok sweet dreams babe." AJ said turning out the lights and shutting the door.
Trisha lay in bed thinking about how she was going to tell AJ what she never told anybody before.

CHAPTER 2
The phone rang and Trisha still half-asleep answered it "Hello?"
"Trisha are you still sleeping?" The voice asked her.
"AJ is that you?" Trisha asked more awake.
"Duh, yeah. What are you doing still sleeping? Do you realize what time it is?" AJ asked
"Um yeah." Trisha quickly looked at the clock on the nightstand. "It is exactly 9:00pm."
"Have you been sleeping all this time." AJ asked not believing it.
"Um yeah I sort of have." Trisha said sheepishly.
"Are you sick or something?" AJ asked alarmed.
"Um, no I don't think so. I am just tired that's all." Trisha said
"Well you have been sleeping practically all day. Are you sure? Well listen I was just calling to tell you that I would be back in about an hour ok?" AJ asked.
"Yeah ok, that's fine" Trisha responded.
"Ok I will see you in a bit. Bye."
"Ok. Bye." Trisha said and hung up. She turned over and went back to bed.
An hour and a half-later AJ walked in to the room to find that Trisha had gone back to bed. "Oh well." AJ said to himself and got ready for bed.
