WANI means 'The Crocodile', KO means 'Child'. A small but powerful Pokémon. Even a trainer who is an adult must be exytemely careful when handling Waninoko because it can crush anything with the powerful jaws it developed. A pint-sized, yet powerful Pokémon. It doesn't need parents, but still requires special care. A Water type Pokémon which looks like a crocodile. This is one of the Pokémon that the hero gets to select first. Evolves into Arigeitsu. Starts at lv. 5, like in Red/Blue.

Arigeitsu grows one tusk for every battle it wins. It can have almost 48 tusks before it stops gaining them. Even if a fang falls out, they grow back one after another. Arigeitsu always has a complete set of 48 fangs in its mouth.

Otachi is a new Pokémon that many think is a giant flying squirrel. "O" means "Tail" and "Tachi" means "Stand". As such, you'll probably see it standing on its tail and living in trees. He's kind of like Tigger in that he uses his tail to stand on and look out for friends. He's a nimble Pokémon, so he's rascally when you try to nab him, but he's quite common, so if you lose him, just find another. Otachi is classified as a "Mihari" Pokémon.

The egg Pokémon. It has an eggshell covering half of its body. In the TV show, it's one of Misty's Pokémon. When it hatches, the first person it sees is considered its trainer because Togepi thinks that the trainer is its mother. In the cartoon, Togepi uses Psychic attacks, but this is unconfirmed for the game. Togepi hatches from an egg. It has an attack called "Amaeru". This is a new technique and means "Behave Like A Spoiled Child". Togepi also has an attack called "Yubi wo Furu" or "Finger Swinging", much like the American move "Metronome." Always happy, even though it is stuck in its egg. As it fights, Togepi becomes familiar with the opponent's attacks. To get Togepi to evolve, you must take it to the salon in Kogane City to do beauty treatment, always take it in your team, give it drinks, and let it gain levels. Togepi can learn, in addition to Metronome and Amaeru, Angel Kiss and Take Down.

A water Pokémon. The tail of Marril is usually filled with water. It can also provide air for when it dives deep into water. The ball on the end of the tail can also expand and contract to help it swim. Marril's tail acts like a fishing bobber when it's submerged in water.Its ears have radar abilities, and it can hear from far distances. Contrary to popular rumor, this Pokémon's name is NOT Pikablu or even Mariru (Mariru is its Japanese name). It is Marril. Appears in Pikachu's Vacation and Pikachu Tankentai. It also makes an appearance on the show as one of Kenji(Tracey)'s Pokemon.

#190 Eipamu




This is a long-tailed Pokemon which resembles Mankey. "EIPA" means ape. Eipamu (who will likely be called Apepalm when he arrives in the states) is a tweaking monkey. It's got a hand on his tail, which makes it easy for this ape to climb just about any tree. It can also stand on his palmed tail. His tail is quite strong, and he's very arrogant about that, so he makes many nasty sounds to attract attention. And it has a freaky grin and its eyes are really big. :D

A night Pokémon (meaning that in the game, this is a Pokémon that will only appear during the night). Yamikarasu is resistant to psychic attacks, since it is an evil type.
