Master Ball Cheat- When you throw a greatball hold up and b it will act as a master ball.(hint: hold it right before it hits the pokemon) Or it might be down and b and you can also use down a A when the pokeball is just about to close

Easily Gain Level - To easily gain experience, simply switch the Pokémon you want to train with the top Pokémon on your list. When you go into battle the Pokémon will pop out. You can then switch to another Pokémon. Once you win the battle the beginning Pokémon and the fighting Pokémon will both gain experience points.

Celadon Slot Tip- all of the slot machines have different odds, which change every time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because it's probably hot. If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon.

Free Coins At Game Corner- Walk around the game corner pressing "a" and you will find coins.

Phantom PC- Go to Celadon City and make your way to the motel. go to the far right wall and make ash look north and he be in the middle square. Press A and What's this? OHMYGOSH!!!! a Ghost computer!! Ok, so this isn't that big of a deal but it does works. Make sure you have your pokémon with CUT with you and go into the tall grass. Then use CUT. The grass will be gone and your injured pokémon won't have to fight.

Catch Safari Zone Pokemon out of the Safari Zone
go into the safari zone. walk around in a patch of grass ware the pokemon you want is. waste your time in that patch of grass.wen the time runs out go to cinabar island. surf up and down the right sid haf on land and haf in water. oventuly you will find that pokemon that you want and gess wat? no more bate and rockes.

Fish in a Gym- when you enter a gym go up to one of the statues and choose a rod to fish with. Usually you get good Pokemon.

Catch Ditto Easily- to catch a ditto easy put magikarp at the top of your list and let ditto transform into him and then switch pokemon you can also do this with a tentacool.

Missingno- first, you have to go trade with the guy on Cinnabar is. that wants aponyta for a seel. as soon as you get it go to the coast of the is. usea pokemon that has surf and surf up and down the coast half on half off the is. you will run into Missinggo the 152 pokemon!He's actually #000 but his attack is about 230 but his def is only 13 so use a weak pokemon. you can fight him more than once though and believe me this works.

First fly to viridian and talk to the old guy who shows u how to catch a weedle. When he asks are you in a hurry respond no, then watch him catch a weedle. After he shows you how, take the item yuo want 99 of and make it the 6th item on your list. Now fly to fushia city. Use surf and surf to the coast of Seafoam. DO NOT GET OFF. Now surf on the coast of seafoam until u fight a pokemon called M'. it looks like a missigno. Now after you defeat him or run (DO NOT CAPTURE) look at your 6th item. u should have 99! NOTE: if you keep swimming along seafoam ou can run into level 135 starmies!!

Duplicate PokéMon- this code let's you double a rare Pokémon, but the other Pokémon is deleted. First, have one person select a rare Pokémon or one that is at higher level than yours. Second, have the other person select an easy one to get like Pidgey or Ratatta. Then have the person the has the rare Pokémon turn thier Game Boy off as soon as it says WAITING!. Then have the person with the common one turn thier Game Boy off. If all this was done correctly, you each should have the rare Pokémon, and the common one should be gone. I am not sure if it works becuase I haven't done it.

It is called the item warper. First go to Cinnabar Island. go inside the pokemon lab, and trade with one of the guys there. Then move a nugget or expensive TM near the top of you item list. Then surf up and down the right side of the island, where it looks like you are half on land and half on the water and hold down "a". In a couple seconds you will run into missingno. There are a lot of him so don't worry if you kill him. he has really high attack but defense sucks ass. Catch at least one of him. Then look at your items. There will be a little symbol in front of a nine where the number is for that one item. Then go to the pokemart. Go to sell. Sell that item with the symbol, but press down when he asks you how many you want to sell. You have thousands of bucks!!!! This is a really neat trick that I stumbled upon while goofing around, and now i have 999,999 dollars in my game :) >>

Tips
Be careful picking your first pokemon. There are many pros and cons about them. Here are some, remember to chose your pokemon wisely! Squirtle does great against rock pokemon (the first gym is all rock), but very porely against Misty in the second gym, but if you caught a Pikachu in the forest, you will have no trouble. Bulbasaur is your best bet, he evolves quickly and has some poison attacks. He does good against Brock with rock pokemon (but not as good as Squirtle) and great with Misty in the second gym. Charmander is very weak against to first couple gym leaders, he does poorly against rock, and very poorly against water. But, once it evolves in Charmelon, he starts to be the best out of the rest of the starting pokemon.

When fighting Brock, use water pokemon. When fighting Misty, use grass or electric. Grass has a good defense with water, and electric has a good offense.

When fighting Lt. Surge, use Ground pokemon, since he uses electric. When fighting with Erika, the grass pokemon trainer, use fire, ice, or posion. If you have a Squirtle, you might have trouble with her, unless he's pumped up to a Wartortle. When fighting Sabrina, use a Butterfree or any other bug, or your best bet is using a ghost. You can find bugs in Viridian Forest, and ghosts in Lavender Town. Also bring some awakening.

When fighting Koga, the ninja master, use ground or psychic. Koga uses poison attacks, so make sure you have some antidote. When fighting Blaine, your best bet is a water pokemon, but ground works well too. Bring plenty of burn heal, because his pokemon has powerful fire attacks. When fighting the mystery gym leader (who is acually Giovanni, Team Rockets leader) use ground pokemon, or water type pokemon. He has a mix between rock pokemon, ground pokemon, and normal pokemon. When fighting the Eltie Four, you can use any pokemon, but your best bet would be a dragon or ghost. Your rival has already beaten the Elite Four and now will challange you. His pokemon differ from which pokemon he took from the beginning. Check out the Battle Chart to find out which pokemon you should use.

After you beat your rival and the Elite Four in the Pokemon League HQ, you can now go up to nugget bridge and surf down the river to the cave which was orinally blocked by a guy. In there is Mewtwo. Use a bug or ghost pokemon to weaken him, DON'T KILL HIM!!! You only get one chance to catch him. Then use a Master Ball or an Ultra Ball to catch him.

To get 99 Masterballs talk to the guy in Viridian City that catches Weedle, reply no to his question. Then, make your Master Ball your Sixth item (use the select button). Then FLY to Cinnabar Island and SURF up and down the east coast. A screwed up MissingNo. will pop up, kill him and you will have infinite of your sixth item! Continue SUFING for level 150+ pokemon! If you hold 'A' when you attack during a battle, it makes it a little stronger hit. When you catch pokemon, right before the pokeball hits it, hold Up and 'B'. It doesn't make it act like a Master Ball (as so many of those "other sites" say) but increases your chances of catching it.

For each of these to work you (1.) Must have all 150 pokemon (3.) Must have beaten the Elite Four (2.) Have three Legendary Birds and three goedudes (3.) Put the three Birds at the top of the active six list (Articuno, then Zapdos, then Moltres) (4.) Put the Geodudes at the bottom of the list (5.) Talk to Mr. Psychic in Saffron (6.) He will say something different then he'll say "Regulery now that you have done the access code you must have two versions of the game . . ." (6.) Now you must get each of these in order.

MEW: Start a new game and get a pokemon (on the version you DON'T have all 150). Trade to your other version and teach it CUT. Trade it back and beat the game until you get SURF and STRENGTH, but Do not go in the S.S. Anne! After you do that, go to the dude that ask for the S.S. Anne ticket and SURF to the right and you'll find an island with a truck on it. Do the access code above and push it. A item ball will be there with Mew! [Editor's Note: Yes! Finally! We have the code for Mew!!! Now we know how to move that damn truck.]

CHARCOLT: Once you have Mew go to the guy in Celadon Department Store that tells you Graveler evolves into Golem when traded. Now go into the TV/Game department (where you got the TM Counter). There will be a guy playing Game Boy. Talk to him and he should give you Charcolt. If not, just wander around that building talking to people. You should find him.

FLARETH: Now that you have 152 pokemon, get 4 Moltres by trade or gameshark and have them in your active six. Only have the Moltres. So you only have four to use. Now go in the Celadon Department Store again and go to the top floor. Talk to the girl that tells you she's thirsty 100 times. Now talk to her one . . . more . . . time . . .

PIKABLU: Now that you have 153 pokemon go into Cerulean City with a SURF pokemon. SURF up and down the River near the UNKNOWN DUNGEON using the Item Finder. When you find something, look for a poke ball (by continuesly pressing A wherever you go). In the ball there will be a note, "There is a rare pokemon by Cinnabar Island." Be prepared because this Pokemon is strong! Go to Cinnabar Island and have the pokemon you supposibly taught DIG. DIG in the water around the Island ans he should pop up. But there is a problem. DIG is used to get out of caves, not dig holes. So if it doesn't work just try pressing A a bunch of times.

MISSINGNO.: You have to trade 4 times (I think with a Japenesse one) and heal your pokemon at Pallet Town, then FLY to Cinnabar Island then swim up and down the water between Cinnabar and Pallet. After a while you should see MissingNo.! [Editor's Note: I have know idea where you are soppose to get a Japenesse game (except in Japan), but if you have a gameshark your in luck! Get the code here! And if you scroll down a little further, you can get some info on him. and an even easier way to catch him!]
HE REAL WAY TO GET MEW: The only way I know to get him is to get from Gameshark (check out the Gameshark Page) and a little "disk" that Nintendo is giving away as a prize (check out Nintendo Power Magazine for more details). [Editor's Note: I think I have found a way to get Mew without Gameshark! I heard you beat the game and have all 150 pokemon, then get the secret key from Cinnabar Island, then go to the truck and activate STRENGTH about 100 times. The truck should move. I've also heard that you can catch him in the Unknown Dungeon, he is wild so you really gotta look.]

THE REAL WAY TO GET MISSINGNO.: On Cinnabar Island, trade with one of the guys in the Pokemon Lab. Then, go SURF up and down the coast of Cinnabar where it looks like your on 1/2 land and 1/2 water. He should pop up.

THE REAL WAY TO GET PIKABLU: Pikablu has to be in the game! If you trade with the guy in Cinabar Lab (Riachu for Pikablu) and he's says that his Raichu evolved! Can someone tell me if you got it! I think this is the way to do it:
1) Enter gameshark code: 0le764dl
2) Go to name-rater and name your Raichu, Pikablu.
3) Then trade it to another game pak.

Both players need to have beaten the game with all 150 Pokemon for this trick to work.
1. The BLUE version player trades th RED version player for DRATINI.

2. The BLUE version then evolves the DRATINI to a DRAGONITE and trades it back to the RED version should head to the basement level of the UNKNOWN DUNGEON and surfclosest to where MEWTWO was. Then take a FIRE STONE and use it on the DRAGONITE. (NOTEICE: "Not Available" will appear, but still select it.)
3. The screen will glitch, and the DRAGONITE will evolve into "YOSHI".
4. This Pokemon will still keep the stats of a DRAGONITE, however in the Stats Screen, it'll have YOSHI'S pic with the ID No. of 999.
Go to the guy in Viridian city that shows you how to catch weedle, and answer NO to his question. After he shows you how to catch weedle go to cinnibar isle and and surf up and down the coast 1/2 on and 1/2 off and he will pop up....................Also if you put an item like a tm
or master ball in the 6th slot on your items list, and run from missingo when you find him you will get way over 100 Items.

Bill's Garden- first you need to get all the evolved forms of evee and also an evee. then go to bills house. hell ask you a couple of questions. then hell invite you to his back yard, there you can find 2 pokeballs they have charmander and mew in them. by the way this code does work ive done it and have both of those pokemon.
