| Lisa is trained in NY and Cuban Style Salsa as well as Latin Ballroom dances such as Rumba and Cha Cha. She started dancing ballet, tap and jazz at four at the Dance Studios of Susan Wright-Reagan for nine years. It wasn't until last year that she found her love for salsa at Wepa Wednesdays. Lisa started to take classes weekly at Wepa and later joined a Boston based salsa group, Salsacion. Salsacion danced at various universities and cultural shows throughout New England. She also learned La Rueda de Casino and performed at First Night in Boston as a dancer for Jorge Arce and Humano. Wepa is where she met Sammy, her partner in crime, and they started to dance Latin Ballroom toghether in December. Now they are both performing salsa shows and competiting in latin ballroom competitions. |
