| Well, this is my little spot to tell the world my philosohpy on the Maxpages service. I think that thye have a very good team of prgrammers who have created a relatively easy to use editor that helps people turn out nice looking, well organized sites. It also has user friendly wizards that help make the site stand out. By this I mean simplifying putting music on the site, scrolling a message across the status bar, page transitions, etc. However, although this is a great place ot make stunnig sites with lots of images, the one downfall that runis it all is the ads. It totally degrades the expeirience to pur displeasure for people like me. Other may feel diferently, but you have the right. Maxpages is a good idea and has a good structure, but the ads ruin it all. I really do wish there was a way to offer such a superior service with out all the ads. I think there is some kind of paid option, but I think paying for web services like a personal homepage you will soon forget about is stupid. Busineses might feel diferently, but this is just my rambling of something I have wanted to get out for about four years now. |
