| set goals and achieve them!! |
Why I think its a good idea to have goals is because it gives you room for
improvement with yourself. You can cut a big goal up into small parts and
soon your goal with be acomplished! Its real easy! to set some goals for
yourself. For example you can start a list off something like this..
MY GOALS:
1) To lose 5 kilos
2) to sit my learners licence
3) to get new fur paltro Cd.
Then you look at those girls and write out another section that says 'HOw
to make your goals reality" Write out how you can begin to make these things
reality, For example for your licence, You could borrow a rode code, or buy
one and start to study for your licence, etc etc. The idea of writing goals
may sound silly to some people, but for me it works and has really helped me
in alot of ways. I also write a list of my 'material wants' and when I have
money I can buy something from my material wants list. I'd like to take
this opunity now to tell you of some of my goals that I have made reality.
And let you know how I made them become reality EXACTLY, Incase you happen
to have the same goal as me then it might help you out.
What my goals were:
Goal1: To redecorate bedroom.
I was in the smaller room of the house since I liked small bedrooms, We had
an empty front room which was the biggest in the house, I decided since
I was getting so many things and running out of space in my room! Id
redecorate the front room and move in there. I talked to mum about painting
it out, I chose the colours and mum and I painted it out, Handy having a mum
as a painter aye? In the mean time I stayed in the my small room. I went
to the warehouse, got alot of things on layby for my new room like tv shelf,
pillows, pillow cases, bean bag, shelves, and some other things. I paid the
layby off each week with a part of my pocket money. After about a a month,
My room was all ready and my layby was ready to get out! That weekend I
moved into my new room and crossed that goal off my list!
Goal 2: To lose weight
I did need to lose weight, I was over weight according to my height, it was
really slowing my self esteem. I joined weight watchers {which by the way
is not about starving yourself! I ate lots and chocolate too!} I lost
eight kilos. Im now 56 kilos, I carry on following the weight watchers
system by myself now, and even when I went off weight watchers for two months
I didn't gain any weight, I actually lost some!
Goal3: To get belly button periced.
I really wanted my belly periced. It was only about the money side of it
really, but I saved some money and got that done too!
Goal 4: To stop being so shy and develop more self esteem.
going goals actually raised my self esteem so so much its amazed me! and the
losing weight, Its hard to come out of being shy I do know, I also made a pat
with myself that I would speak up more, and push myself. I never used to be
able to talk in front of an audience, Now I can, I still feel shy but I'm
working through that really well!
I really recommend having goals, it can raise your self esteem so so much!
I've got goals at the moment also. They are going well. Goals don't have
to be major things! Like one of mine for example is to grow my natural hair
colour out, its grown out 2 inches so thats a good start now isn't it?:)
