EXCERPTS FROM THE BOOK (Book Review to follow):

One March afternoon, Andrea, my five-year old granddaughter, my wife and I, decided to fly kites. The afternoon was warm and the wind blew periodically. Andrea started to run with her kite. She ran every which way, nearly tangling my wife with her kite. I shouted to Andrea to be careful with the car coming down the street. My wife also shouted, "Yes, be careful that the parked car doesn't get you!"

At the county fair this year, my wife, sister and I entered an exhibit hall. Immediately, a lady handed my wife something. I couldn't see what it was because she was out of my seeing range. But when I approached the same lady handing out something, she totally ignored me and handed something to my sister and other ladies. I felt left out and somewhat annoyed. Someone nearby said that I did not have any boobs. Then I felt a lot better. When I asked my wife what she had been given, she said that she had been given a pink ribbon for breast awareness month.
