| INFOBOT Extraboard engineers who encounter jobs not being properly placed on INFOBOT should forward this information to Steve. Job #, date, on duty location and time etc. INCORRECT PAY RATE Extras and other jobs moving 50 or more cars of phosphate, loaded or empty are being paid local freight rate instead of road switcher. Make sure the proper K code is on your time ticket, this code can be changed. If you have been improperly paid and payroll will not correct forward all pertinent information to Steve. LOCOMOTIVE INSPECTION The FRA and CSX are monitoring outlying points to see if engineers are filling out inspection reports, also engineers taking engines with FRA reportable defects. You, not CSX can be fined for these violations. Don't get caught. FRA DEFECTS Instructors at certification classes have been putting out what we believe to be mis-information about what constitutes an FRA defect. We are making arrangements for FRA inspector Pat Plumb to attend our union meeting to clarify this situation. In the mean time C.Y.A. (cover your ass) THRU-FREIGHTS Thru-freights have been pooled on the north end (JAX). This should reduce your away from home time on these jobs. Please do not claim rest in Jacksonville.  |
