THE BLE/SENSE PROGRAM WORKS. THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO FILL OUT THESE FORMS. TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A SAFER WORK PLACE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
JRTS. If you have had an unsafe bus trip please fill out a SENSE form with time, date, bus drivers name etc. Indicate the nature of the problem, speeding, bus driver not rested and falling asleep while driving, bus in unsafe condition (need bus number) The more information the better. This infromation can save a life or get you or your family a larger settlement if you are injured or killed while riding in a bus.
WEEDS. We will no longer sign off on weeds and tall grass SENSE forms until they have been mowed. In the past we have signed off on them after spraying, this does not eliminate the problem just changes the color. Dead weeds and grass are still a safety problem.
East Tampa. No comunication with mine engine. Mine crews leaving tracks close clearance.
Clearance points will be established and marked. Cargill has refused a CSX radio, they do not wish to man or maintain it. We will be working with them to establish better comunications between CSX and Cargill.
TN Tower. Brush obscuring signals has been cut. Brush on siding at Stokes is under consideration. Submitted by F.W. Meyfarth
Hookers Point. Weeds should be cut around switches, maybe several weeks before entire area is mowed and sprayed. Submitted by T.S.Hunt
Palmetto Subdivision: Missing whistle posts and 15 MPH
diamond board. Submitted by R.M. McFail. Whistle posts and diamond board installed.
