MOVIE 1

-[Konnichiwa, minna! Digimon Adventure
was the first movie that was released by Toei.
Gomen, for I don't have very much info on this
movie at the moment. It will be released
(hopefully) in American theaters in October
along w/ the second Digimon movie, "Bokura
no War Game".]-

This is the first movie in which Taichi is 7 and Hikari is 4. It takes place the night of the "terrorist bombings" which we know was really Greymon fighting Parrotmon. This is also the first night the kids were chosen to be the DigiDestined. The movie takes place (obviously) from Taichi and Hikari's perspective and so the other kids aren't in it. The movie begins w/ Taichi waking up in the middle of the night b/c he needs to use the potty x_X¡ He notices Hikari staring at a strange egg on their computer screen. Suddenly the egg comes out of their computer! The next morning (so I guess they just left a weird egg there until the next day...er...oooookay...) the egg hatches into a Botamon. Soon after he digivolves into Koromon and later that day into Agumon. But this Agumon isn't the same loveable Agu from the show we all know and love. This one is meaner and bigger. He suddenly runs out the door with Hikari on his back. Taichi gives chase. Once on the street outside their apartment (right by the bridge!), the sky opens up and out of it comes...Parrotmon! He and Agumon being to battle and after awhile, Agumon digivolves to Greymon. Greymon eventually destroys Parrotmon, but ends up disappearing himself. Hikari is upset by this and the movie ends w/ her calling after Koromon.

MOVIE 2

-[The second Digimon move! These movies
are very short, btw (thought I'd mention this
now...), only about a half an hour each.
They are shown at Toei's Animation Fair,
which is why they are so short. But I am
sure this movie will be released in America
along with Digimon Adventure, the first movie...
and possibly the third movie as well. Let's hope
so anyway!]-

"Bokura no War Game" ("Our War Game") takes place 6 months after the children leave the Digiworld. Instead of being Summer Break, it's now Spring Break, and all the children are away, except for Taichi, Hikari, Koushirou and Sora. Mimi is in Hawaii, Jou is studying for entrance exams into Jr. High and Yamato and Takeru are visiting their grandmother in the country. It starts out when Koushirou sees a glowing digiegg, which suddenly hatches, on his computer screen. He realizes this can't be good so he goes and tells Taichi. Once Koushirou shows Taichi the Digimon on his comp, it digivolves once more. Taichi decides to call Sora to warn her, but she's still mad at him over a fight they had earlier, so he gets Koushirou to try, but she won't talk to him either. Just when it looks like the kids have nothing they can do to combat the Digimon, Koushirou gets an e-mail from Gennai, who tells him he will transfer Agumon and Tentomon into their computer to fight the Digimon. But unfortunately the Digimon digivolves again into an even stronger Digimon and Agumon and Tentomon can't defeat it. As the battle progresses, Koushirou receives e-mail from children all over the world who are either sending them words of encouragement or words of discouragement o_0¡ Since the Digimon (Diablomon) is made up of all bad things on the internet, he begins eating data which eventually causes trouble all over the world. When Taichi finally gets a hold of Yamato and Takeru, they find it's quite hard to get access to a computer in the small village they are in, but after what seems to be an eternity, they find one. Gennai then sends Patamon and Gabumon into the computers to help in the battle. Agumon and Gabumon eventually warp digivolve into WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, but it's still no use, Diablomon is too strong for them, even at the mega level. It is then that the evil Digimon starts a countdown. Koushirou receives another e-mail from a boy who tells them that when the timer reaches zero, all of America's nuclear missiles will be fired all over the world, causing a nuclear armageddon (Diablomon hacked--well if you can call it that--into the Pentagon's computer's starting the countdown). Taichi and Yamato find a way to go inside the computers to revive WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. The two mega Digimon fuse together to form Omegamon, but even at this new stage, they still cannot beat Diablomon (actually by this point I am not sure if it is Diablomon or not). But, Koushirou gets an idea. He thinks that if they can forward all the e-mail they have received from all the children watching the battle all over the world to the evil Digimon's address, he might be able to slow it down. This works...with only one second left to spare.
