How do you catch a Kangaskhan?
You need to get to what we all know and love as the Safari Zone. Here, you can catch all sorts of nifty rare Pokemon that can be found no where else! One of these is the elusive Kangaskhan-#115. This Pokemon can be found on both the Red and Blue paks, so don't be discouraged if you don't catch it at first. To get to the Safari Zone, you first need to be able to get to Fuschia City. The easiest way to get here is to go through Routes 21, 20, and 19 from Pallet to Fuschia. You will need a Surfing Pokemon to effectively perform this feat. Once in Fuschia City, go to the North as far as you can. You will need a Cutting Pokemon for this one. Cut the bush that is blocking your path, and then head north once again. You will see a building surrounded on all sides by trees. Enter this building. As you try to walk on through, a guy will stop you asking you for money so you can play the Safari game. Say yes, if you really want a Kangaskhan, and head on in. Immediately head north until you hit a fence, then head east until you come to a wall of trees. If a wild Pokemon attacks you while you are walking there, just run away. You will want to safe your Safari Balls for the Kangaskhan. Head north again. When you see an opening to another screen, go through it. From here, head east until you are walking in a grassy area, where Pokemon live. Begin walking around and eventually you will be attacked by something. If it is not a Kangaskhan, then run away. If it is, then start chucking Safari Balls at it. It will eventually either be caught or run away, if it runs away, just walk around some more. If you run out of time before you catch one, just head back to the same place and try again.

How to get Dratini
If you are having trouble finding (or winning) Dratini, go fishing in the Safari zone in Area I. And if you do hook it, just throw Safari Balls at it. This also works with other Safari Zone Pokemon.

Get all the starter Pokemon
It's possible to get all the starter Pokemon. To do this you need: 2 Linkable Game Boy systems, 2 Pokemon games, any colours, 1 Game Link Cable
What you will do is use one Game Boy as Pokemon storage and the other Game Boy will be used for capturing Pokemon.
1. Start a new game with Game Boy A.
2. Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Squirtle.
3. Go to nearest Pokemon Centre and trade Squirtle to Game Boy B.
4. Start a new game with Game Boy A.
5. Repeat 2 through 4.
6. Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Charmander.
7. Go to nearest Pokemon Centre and trade Charmander to Game Boy B.
8. Start a new game with Game Boy A.
9. Repeat 6 through 8.
10. Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Bulbasaur.
11. Go to nearest Pokemon Centre and trade Bulbasaur to Game Boy B.
12. Start a new game with Game Boy A.13.
13. Repeat 10.
14. There should be 2 Squirtles and 2 Charmanders on Game Boy B, so now trade one of each back to Game Boy A.

If you want a Metapod, or a Kakuna, that can attack, first you must capture a Caterpie, or Weedle, before level 7 (level 7 is when they evolve into Metapod/Kakuna) *Note: In doing this, you do not get Harden.Yet another note: They will only stay in Kakuna/Metapod for three levels,after that you get Butterfree/Beedril.

Moltres tip
Moltres is in the victory road cave on the third level from the entrance(bottom I think) and Mewtwo is in the cave outside of Cerulean that only Pokemon champs can enter. For catching him, weaken him and then put him to sleep this is the best way to catch him if you do not have the master ball.

Where to get Mewtwo
To find the ominous "Mewtwo", go to Cerulean City and travel up the bridge toward Bill's. When you reach the end of the bridge, go to the left and us the surf ability. Follow the river until you reach a cave. This is the unknown dungeon, (like it says in the map in the instructions).Now, travel through it to find Mewtwo. He's at level 70!!! You get one chance.

Where to find the rarest Pokemon
Articuno: He is in the Seafoam caves. To reach him you have to push to rocks into those black squares. they will fall into water and change the current. After the current is calmer, use the surf ability to reach the island with the bird on it. That's Articuno. Make sure you have ultra balls with you, you have only one chance to catch this Pokemon. Articuno is an ice PokemonZapdos: He is in the Power Plant under Rock cave. Use the surf ability to reach it. Go into the river and just follow the only path. search around the power plant. It's like the others, a bird. You have only one chance, so be careful. Zapdos is an electric type For other rare Pokemon, try the safari game in Fuschia city. To catch them, first throw bait, then a rock, and finally the safari ball. The hardest to catch ones are the weaker ones, because they always run

If you are looking for electric type Pokemon, don't sweat it. Go to the entrance of rock tunnel (by Cerulean city) and use the surf ability at the river nearby. just follow the only path, that will take you to an old power plant. You will find Many Voltorbs, Medium Pikachu's, Medium Magnemite, Few Raichu's and very Few Electrodes. Note: Electrodes will always use self-destruct, it's easier to trade a Raichu for an Electrode at the Cinabar Islands.

Lot's o' Water Pokemon in the Cinabar Island Caves! Swim out from Fuchsia City with Surf, and go to the first land (other than platforms) you come across. There should be a cave entrance. Before you enter, make sure you have escape ropes, it's a maze in there!

Fire Pokemon are at home in the Cinabar Islands. Just go into the top left building, and you will be attacked by Ponytas, Vulpix (blue version),growlithe (red version), Muk (blue), Grimer (blue), Weezing, and Koffing (red). Even if you don't want Pokemon, you have to enter to find the key for the gym.

Safari Park tip
Safari Park is home to the rarest of all Pokemon! Here you will find Eggsegcute, Rhihorn, Kangaskahn, Nidorans (m and f) Doduo, Poliwags,and lots more. It's a bit harder to catch them though. First, throw bait, then throw a rock. If the Pokemon doesn't run away, throw a safari ball. Note: this does not always work. Don't worry about wasting safari balls, That's just about impossible with the limited time you have.

Catching any pokemon on Cinibar Island
First get in to a fight with the pokemon u want to catch and then fly to cinibar island , surf on the east coast and you get in to a fight with the pokemon in the area you last battled in. By the way, if you fight a snorlax and do the cheat you will get in to fights with snorlax's AND MEWTWOS!!!!!!

1. Get a Golem at level 100.
2. Give him a Moon Stone.
3. Teach him these moves in order: Strength, Dig, Sesmic Toss, and Fissure. Top to bottem.
4. Go to the SS.Anne and go to where the truck is off to the left hand side. Use Stregth in front of it, it will fall into th water.
5. Then there will be steps over there walk into them, you will be telaported to the Silph. Co. pond, and in there you will find Pikablu level 0, Blastoise level 0, Mewthree level 0. When you catch it, use an escape rope and get out and there you have it.
Catch Pokemon over L:100
Once you have gotten to Cinnabar island, fly to Varidian City and talk
to the old man who shows you how to catch pokemon. Get him to catch a
weedle and then fly back to Cinnabar Island. Surf up and down the right
coast (half land/half water) and you will fight land pokemon. Each
game cartrage differs between pokemon but you will find some over
L:100. The only real way you can use them is if you fight other people
via game link or else they go back to L:100.
Fish in Gym
Go to any pokemon gym and walk up to a statue. Face up and use any of
the rods. Each gym has different pokemon so you try them all.
