Once again, Pokemon TCG Master Trainers from Wizards of the Coast are hitting the road to host the biggest Pokemon event of the summer. The tour will be cruising across the country from April 29th to July 2nd, so don`t miss your chance to participate in these great activities: Super Trainer Showdown Qualifier Tournament Series: Bring your best Pokemon cards and prepare to prove yourself in battle. The top players from each tournament across the country will receive a special Gold Invitation to compete in the Super Trainer Showdown in Los Angeles on July 22, 2000. Space is limited, so arrive early to secure your spot. New 3-Stage Pokemon Training Area: If you`ve never played the Pokemon Trading Card Game before, visit the Training Area to earn an Official Certified Trainer Certificate and TCG League Stamps. Under the guidance of a Master Trainer from Wizards of the Coast, you`ll learn the basic skills necessary to take on any opponent. Pokemon League Zone: If you`re already a seasoned Pokemon TCG veteran, then the League Zone is for you. This special area is designed specifically for experienced gamers to play, trade and collect with other Pokémon Trainers. It`s a great way to meet new friends! Pokemon Fun Zone: Designed for kids ages five and under, the Fun Zone is where Trainers-to-be can get a taste of Pokemon from Wizards` expert Master Trainers. A Japanese company said Friday it is developing a sewing machine that can be connected to the Internet to download and automatically stitch patterns displayed on the company`s web site, including Pokémon characters! Jaguar International Corp., Japan`s biggest sewing machine company, is negotiating with Nintendo Co. - the creator of the smash-hit Pokemon video game, game cards and movies - to sell a sewing machine that automatically stitches Pikachu and other popular cartoon characters onto cloth. The machine will include three Pokemon character cartridges that can be inserted into Nintendo`s hand-held Game Boy game machine and connected by cable to the sewing machine, which transfers the images and stitches them at the touch of a button, Nishi said. A simpler version of the Nuotto, called the Nu-Yell, will go on sale here in May, using the Game Boy terminal to download and stitch triangles, squares and more than 80 other letters and patterns onto T-shirts and other clothing, Nishi said. There will be a new pokemon show coming on Kids WB. It is Pokemon GS. Pokemon GS has 100 new pokemon from gold and silver versions. It will be coming on Friday afternoons. I don't know an exact date but it should come on somtime this fall. The Team Rocket decks for the trading card game will be out this spring/summer. While I am on this topic I will tell you about the trading card game for game boy. There are clubs that are kind of like gyms. The game also teaches you how to play the card game without all that reading. You get cards for winning against trainers.I have played this game and I think you should buy it, although I would rent it first. |
