| PokeMon Red/Blue Cheats Missingo Missingo is Pokemon #000. It does not have a Pokedex entry. Get a Pokemon with surf and surf up and down the coast of Cinnibar Island. Eventually you should fight a Pokemon called Missingo. It does a lot of damage, but all of it's stats are weak. It is most easy to catch by just throwing balls at it. All Missingos have different types. The one I caught is Flying and Ice. WARNING: THIS POKEMON MIGHT SCREW UP YOUR GAME!!!! Fight Safari Zone Pokemon Other Places You can fight Safari Pokemon in one place other than the Safari Zone. BEFORE YOU DO THIS, BE SURE TO HEAL ALL OF YOUR POKEMON!!! Go into the park and find a piece of grass that has the Pokemon you want to capture in it. Then, fly to Cinnibar Island and Surf up and down the right shoreline. Any pokemon that can be found in the patch of grass you flew from will be in there! Unlimited chances to catch rare Pokemon. This is a trick, more than a secret. If you are about to fight a Pokemon that you can only catch one time, save before you get to him. Then, if you kill him, or he kills you, you can just start over, and everything will be fine! Better Chance at Catching Pokemon When you throw a Pokeball, of any type, hold down A as it closes on the Pokemon. It will give you a better chance at catching then Pokemon. This is a useful hint when catching one of the legendary birds of prey, or Mewtwo. Harder Hitting Attacks Hold down A while you are attacking, and you should do more damage. Phantom PC When you are in Celadon City for a while, go to the Inn. You will notice that it looks a whole lot like a Poke-Center Go to where the PC usually is, and there will be a PC there, although you cannot see it! Fish in Statues In some statues, you can fish in then and find rare water Pokemon. Get 99 of any Item First, return back to Viridian City and talk to the man who taught you how to catch a Weedle (he is to the left of the Gym where you face Giovanni). Reply "No" to his question, then watch him catch a Weedle. Then, place the item you want 99 as number six from the top (we recommend the Master Ball if you still have it). To switch items, press Select while pointing to an item, then move the arrow where you want the item to go and push Select again. Both items will switch places. Now, FLY back to Cinnabar Island and start SURFING along the East Coast of Cinnabar. You will face a different messed up Pokemon, with a name comprised of symbols. Defeat him or run away but do NOT capture it. When it is defeated or escaped from, you will have over 100 of the sixth item on your list! If you want to repeat this trick, you'll need to talk to the man again. If you continue to surf along the coast, you will face Pokemon that are Level 175 can give you 3000 Exp. Points! You can also duplicate expensive items and sell them back to earn lots of money! Harder Hitting Attacks When you are fighting a Pokemon press and hold A when your Pokemon is attacking and almost all the time it will be a critical hit!!
