It was cold. He was hungry. The small fish that darted about in the small
stream helped to fill his empty belly. There were five of the children,
about five years old chasing fingerlings in the cold water.

This is the way the BOWMAN started life. He lived with the cave
dwellers for many years, learning to hunt for his food, eat anything that
he could catch. He moved out onto the wide plains where he found people
living in small villages along the banks of streams. This is where he met
the hated plains raiders. He learned to hate them, and killed them whenever
the opportunity presented itself. He meets his true love, Na-We.
We follow his adventures as he wars against the plains raiders and
moves along the river until people start to develop nations. He goes to war
again to protect the small developing city states.,
He survives the plague,
two world wars,
and starts the company that eventually takes man to the stars.
He fights the battle of the Wolfen and the Swarm. He meets a new species,
becomes their friend and helps them to join the ever growing Empire as it
spreads across ten thousand stars. The Insectoid and Hipoid become partners
with man in this huge sprawling Empire.
The ships that were originally built to take man to the stars become
trading vessels that wander from world to world trading for goods that are
surplus on one world and in demand on another. They grow to be huge space
going cities several hundred miles in length, housing thousands of people
THE BEGINNING takes the reader from BOWMAN's beginning to his meeting
with a young widow on the period world of Hannibal. (A period world is a civilization modeled after
a certian period in time from old Earth) Experience all the
trials and tribulations of his growing up. Fight the dreaded plains
raiders with him. Experience his loves. Be there when he is broken hearted
because they die and leave him behind. Experience his pulling together of
his interest to form a company that goes to the stars. Fight the great
wars of the future that makes the plains raiders look like childs play.

She is a real beauty. She can project an image of a beautiful young
woman and make it so real no one can tell the difference between her and
a real living person. One's primary duty, in regards to Bowman, is to fend off would be
female suitors. Her beauty makes most women insanely jealous. Her striking appearance in her skin
tight black spider silk one piece suit, with the Galaxy Admiral's crest over her left breast where the central
stone, a Huge Ruby centers over her left nipple, which cause the stone to stand out like a super nova,
is provocaitive enough to make women stare and men seethe with desire. What woman wouldn't be put
