HISTORY OF BLACK CAT PRODUCTIONS - HOW IT ALL STARTED - Entertainment

I started writing while still serving in the armed forces. I spent twenty years in the United States Navy. During my last few years I started writing little stories to amuse my shipmates. On long voyages it was a perfect way to pass the time. Some of my shipmates suggested I try to get some of the stories published. I submitted one, VIRGINS IN THE HAYLOFT to Suree Ltd. of Santee, Ca. It was accepted and my writing career was off and running. Since then I have written fourteen full length novel and a number of short stories.
Five of my novels and a couple of the short stories have been published. I sell all my books from my main web site, http://www.maxpages.com/blackcatprod of which this page is a part.
The soul purpose of Black Cat productions is to produce and sell books by M.C. Duncan. It contains outlines, Excerpts and pricing information for the books I have written.
As of Oct. 5, we should be able to produce books on CD's as well as E-mail attachments, Floppy Disks and printed versions.
Books on CD's Will be $6.00 unless the reader orders more than one book on a CD. All books after the first (Included on the same CD) will be $5.00. If the reader orders 3 books on One CD, the charge would be $16.00. $6.00 for the first and $5.00 each for numbers two and three.
I guess my vivid imagination comes from my varied background. From age seven to age eighteen, I was a migrant farm worker. My family worked the crops from Michigan to Florida during the harvest season. Back then, nothing was picked by machie. It was all done by hand. Back breaking labor that lasted from sunrise to sunset.
During those years, from the Berry fields of Michigan to the Orage groves of Florida, and all the stops in between, my education was lacking. I tried going to school and working too but wasn't getting very far.
In 1958 I gave up and joined the Navy. They educated me, got me a GED and taught me Electronics and Communications, among other things.
I met my wefe, Sarah, in 1962. We were wed and had five duaghters. Four blondes and one brunette. They are all married with children of their own now.
Sarah and I celibrated our 39'th aniversery Sep. 17, 2001. For me, it has been a happy 39 years. I believe she feels the same way.
