EDEN - A world with two civilizations. One Human One Insect. - Entertainment

During the third wave of human collonization of the stars, Eden was found.

It was perfect. It had a perfect climate. The soil was rich and deep.

Humans moved in and made themselves at home then things went wrong. A war

that would last three hundred years broke out. Eden no longer had contact with

the outside. It's power systems gave out. The modern tools that had

founded the culture were soon without power. Eden had to revert to simpler

times. The people went back to horse drawn impliments, and water powered mills

to saw their lumber and weave their cloth.

Keeps were the central buildings, created in the time when there was

plenty of power, they were modeled after ancient castles. In the time of the

dark days, they were the central power. Keepers were the ones who held power

Holders were the people who worked the land and were beholding to the

Keepers. The arrangement worked well and prevented conflict.

The Insects made contact with the Humans when their power gave out and all
was well until a plague struck the Human population. The Insects were afraid the plague
would be brought to them so they abandoned their advisors to the Humans,
breaking all contact. The plague ran its course, killing two out of three
Humans and their advisors from the Insects Nest. Contact was lost.

Mark of Keep Duhern was only eleven when he came to power. His father left
him a quest. He solvs the mystery and re-establishes contact with the Nest.

Keepers must be wed by age 13. Mark has to choose a wife. With the assistance of his advisor, he Chooses the
daughter of the Keep By the Sea. A wise choice. She is 6 months younger than
him. They grow up together, sharing everything.
The Human's existance becomes much better.
Truman introduces Irrigation, Crop Rotation, and Electricity.

Eden is Found. A trade ship calls, ending the long dark. The people trade
for many things that the past has robbed them of. The ancient tools still
work but were in need of power packs. The Trade Ship furnishes the Power
Packs and the tools work again. Introduction of broadcast power units opens
all the Keeps to the things of the past.

Mark and Ellen make a wonderful couple. Come read about them and how they
deal with every day problems. How they fall in love and merge into a perfect cuple.
