It happened so many years ago
But the hurt she feels is still there
She told her mother
But her mother ran
They did not believe her, they did not care
All he ever said was sorry
But he does not feel the pain
He doesn't remember all the kisses
All the touching done in vein
He doesn't live with the memories
Why was nothing done
He hurt her not only physically, but mentally for the rest of her life.
She looks in the mirror and wonders who she is
Why did this happen to her
Why did no one believe her
Why did he lie
Now all she wants is to simply die.
