Korn recently shot the second video from its chart-topping album "Issues," and the result will boast a decidedly "'X-Files'-y vibe" according to the band.
The group spent three days in Los Angeles with director Martin Weisz last week shooting a clip for "Make Me Bad," the follow-up to "Falling Away From Me," the first single from "Issues." The new video will also see Udo Kier ("End Of Days," "Blade," "Barb Wire") and Brigitte Nielsen ("Beverly Hills Cop II," "Red Sonja," "Rocky IV") sharing screen time with the band.
Barring a "do-over," Korn's video for "Make Me Bad" should surface later this month, or in early February.
Korn has tweaked the itinerary for its upcoming U.S. tour, bumping up the start date for the outing and adding support in the form of Staind and an animation festival.
The trek, dubbed the "Sick And Twisted Tour," now gets rolling on February 18 (not February 19 as originally planned) and will see the band kick things off in Lakeland, Florida and not Miami. A handful of other dates on the band's two-month U.S. tour have also been changed since Korn first revealed plans for the outing last month (see "Korn Sets Dates For 'Issues' Tour, Jonathan Discusses Scottish Garb").
While the band's latest chart-topping effort, "Issues," hit stores almost two months ago, the upcoming tour will mark Korn's first bit of roadwork in support of the album. The lack of a tour hasn't hurt the band sales-wise, as a loyal fan base and the success of the single "Falling Away From Me" has helped Korn consistently sell between 150,000 and 300,000 copies of the album each week. So far, "Issues" has sold more than 1.8 million copies and will likely go double platinum this week.
Fellow nouveau metallers Staind will join the tour also, as well as Spike & Mike's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation, a touring collection of shorts deemed "too revolting" for the duo's Classic Festival of Animation. Sick and Twisted tours have helped then up-and-coming animators such as Eric Fogel ("Celebrity Deathmatch") and Mike Judge ("Beavis & Butt-head") get a leg up, and the 1999 edition of the cartoon cavalcade featured titles like " No Neck Joe," "Forrest Dump," and "Radioactive Crotch Man."
