Reina Panamerican 2000: 12/29/00
Natalia Figueroa of Uruguay was crowned Reina Panamerican 2000 in Colombia. She also holds the title of International Queen of Flowers.

Miss Angola Universe: 12/18/00
Hidianeth Luisa Cussema, 19, of Bie province was crowned Miss Angola Universe. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant in Puerto Rico. The 1st runner up was Adalgisa Da Rocha Goncalves who also won the Congeniality Award and the 2nd runner up was Suzana Matamba Chaves. Ucilia Mariza Fafala won the Miss Silky Skin prize was won by Ucilia Mariza Fafala; and Maria De Fatima Ndentontonha won the Best African Costume award.

Miss France Universe: 12/9/00
Elodie Gossuin, 20,was crowned Miss France Universe. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant. The 1st runner up was Stephanie Faby; 2nd runner up was Marine Clouet; 3rd runner up was Nawal Benhlal; and the 4th runner up was Elise Duboquet. Miss Flandre.

Miss South Africa: 12/9/00
JoAnnStrauss, 19, of Blackheath was crowned Miss South Africa. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant & if no win there, she will compete in the 2001 Miss World Pageant. The 1st runner up was Layla Jeevanantham, 22, and the 2nd runner up was Claire Drew, 22.

Queen of the World 2000: 12/8/00
Janice Velez, 22, of Puerto Rico was crowned Queen of the World 2000. The 1st runner up was Maria Greenberg of Norway; and the 2nd runner up was Sandra Hoffmann of Germany; 3rd runner up represented Spain; and the 4th runner up was from Croatia.

Miss American Latina: 12/1/00
Grace Martins of Brazil was crowned Miss American Latina 2000 in Nicaragua. The 1st runner up was Elizabeth Areas of Colombia; 2nd runner up was Fabiola Rivero of Boivia; 3rd runner up was Katherine Gonzalez of USA; and the 4th runner up was Gerardine Acosta of Venezuela. The semi-finalists were Romina Bernales of Chilie and Cynthia Cevallos of El Salvador.

Miss World 2000: 11/30/00
Priyanka Chopra, 18, of India was crowned Miss World 2000 at the 50th Anniversary Pageant. This is the second consecutive year that India has won the prestigious title. The 1st runner up was Giorgia Palmas, 20, of Italy; and the 2nd runner up was Yuksel Ak of Turkey. The finalists were: Margarita Kravesova of Kazakhstan who also won the Best Evening Gown Design Award & Katja Thomsen of Uruguay. The semi-finalists were: Angelique Breaux, 22, of USA; Isabel Bawlitza of Chile; Andrea Duron, 23, of Colombia; Yolanda Masinde of Kenya; and Olena Shcherban of Ukraine. More info to come.

Jo Pritchard was crowned Miss Kentucky USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant.

Miss New Hampshire USA: 11/26/00
Melissa Robbins was crowned Miss New Hampshire Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant.

Miss Maine USA: 11/25/00
Melissa Bard was crowned Miss Maine USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Rebecca Pelkey, 22, who was Miss Maine America 1999; 2nd runner up was Kim Harkins, 18; 3rd runner up was Erika Wilson; and the 4th runner up was Lori Geroulo, 23. The semi-finalists were: Amy Greene; Mikell Reed; Tanya Vaughn; Erica Williams; and Tracy Winslow.

Miss Maine Teen USA: 11/25/00
Mei-Ling Lam was crowned Miss Maine Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Megan Jackson; and the 2nd runner up was Shelley Berube.

Miss Alaska USA: 11/25/00
Ivette Fernandez, 25, was crowned Miss Alaska USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Alisa Ann McCLain; and the 2nd runner up was Jasmyne Faulk. The finalists were: Tawna Beer and Wendi Sommers.

Miss Alaska Teen USA: 11/25/00
Kaylen Kelley, 17, was crowned Miss Alaska Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Danielle Smith; and the 2nd runner up was Roseanne Simko. The remaining finalists were: Sondra Mize and Angela Button.

Miss Illinois USA: 11/26/00
Rebecca Ambrosi was crowned Miss Illinois USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Nicole Manske who was Miss Illinois Teen USA 1998. More info to come.

Miss Minnesota USA: 11/26/00
Anne Marie Clausen, 23, was crowned Miss Minnesota USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Rasheda Watkins-Greene, 21, who won the Photogenic Award; 2nd runner up was Rebecca Rowe, 24, who was Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 1995. The finalists were: Jeanna Jopp, 22; and the 2nd runner up was Lanore Van Buren, 25. Jamie Duffney who was Miss Minnesota Teen USA 1997 made the top 10.

Miss Minnesota Teen USA: 11/26/00
Serene Aandahl, 16, was crowned Miss Minnesota Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Nicole Mickelson, 16; 2nd runner up was Katrina Begin, 18. The finalists were: Julie Schiltz, 17; and Austin Sponsel, 16, who won the Photogenic Award.

Miss Maryland USA: 11/26/00
Megan Gunning was crowned Miss Maryland USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Sigrid O'Ferrall; 2nd runner up was Mistie Adams; 3rd runner up was Janine Huang; and the 4th runner up was Michelle Barge.

Monica Palumbo, 19, was crowned Miss North Carolina USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Danielle McCullough; 2nd runner up was Chiniqua Pettaway; 3rd runner up was Alli Burr who was Miss North Carolina Teen USA 1997; and the 4th runner up was Semmi Sistani. The semi-finalists were: Stephanie Berck, Caroline Brigman, Heather DeGol, Andrea Duke, Lucy Parker who was Miss North Carolina Teen USA 1998; Ashley Puleo; and Amanda Threatt.

Miss North Carolina Teen USA: 11/26/00
Erin O'Kelley, 14, was crowned Miss North Carolina Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Shaharazad McDowell; 2nd runner up was Fallon Heavner; 3rd runner up was Brooke Helton; and the 4th runner up was Molly Buchan. The semi-finalists were: Monica Allen; Caroline Firezak; Elizabeth Maroules; Angela McAbee; Lauren Ponder and Amy Simmons.

Miss Idaho USA: 11/25/00
Elizabeth Barcus, 20, was crowned Miss Idaho USA. She was Miss Idaho Teen USA 1998 and will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Samantha Feltsl; and the 2nd runner up was Brandi Baumgartner was second runner-up.

Hayley Van Cleeve was crowned Miss Idaho Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Heidi Phillips.

Miss District of Columbia USA: 11/19/00
Liane Angus, 23, was crowned Miss District of Columbia USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Regina Bailey; 2nd runner up was Lana Grigoriev; 3rd runner up was Radiah Hyatte; and the 4th runner up was Aisha Lord who won the Congeniality Award. The semi-finalists were: Diane Doyen; Asha May; Daniella Galiana; Noni Smith-Nicholas who won the Photogenic Award and Michelle Wright who was Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 1995.

Miss Massachusetts USA: 11/19/00
Dana Powell was crowned Miss Massachusetts USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runne rup was April Thibeault who was Miss Massachusetts America 1999. Elizabeth Hancock who was Miss Massachusetts America 1998 was in the top 10.

Miss Trinidad-Tobago Universe: 11/19/00
Alexia Charlerie was crowned MIss Trinidad-Tobago Universe. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant. More info to come.

Miss Canada Universe: 11/19/00
Cristina Raymond of Southern Quebec was crowned Miss Canada Universe. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant. The 1st runner up was Shani Whittle; 2nd runner up was Shauna Olechowl; 3rd runner up was Michelle Weswaldi; and the 4th runner up was Nancy Habashi. The semi-finalists were: April Mullen; Danica Quinn; Lacey Lee Elliott; Melissa Bhagat; and Natasha Vassell. Lindsay Arnone won the Congeniality Award.

Miss Michigan USA: 11/18/00
Kenya Howard of East Lansing was crowned Miss Michigan USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Annette Hohl and the 2nd runner up was Elisa Schleef. The finalists were Kathleen McConnell who was Miss Michigan Teen USA 1995; Melissa VanOverbeke; and Karen Collins. The semi-finalists were: Shay Veasy; Shannon Spyker-man; Brandie Gurgul; Nyeeyah Omar who won the Photogenic Award; Devlynne Neimeister; and Megan Daly.

Miss Michigan Teen USA: 11/18/00
Chelsea Rudder of Rochester Hills was crowned Miss Michigan Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Kyleen Krstich and the 2nd runner up was Haley Zale. The finalists were: Megan Gardner; Michelle Kimball; and Lauren Fields. The semi-finalists were: Crystal Hayes; Tanya Wyniawskyj; Meloni O'Brien-Smith; Jessica Stephens and Lindsey Tycholiz.

Miss Puerto Rico Universe: 11/16/00
Denisse Quinones of Lares was crowned Miss Puerto Rico Universe. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant to be held in her nation of Puerto Rico. She also won the Best in Evening Gown award. The 1st runner up was Johanna Trevino; 2nd runner up was Katherine Gonzalez. The finalists were Carolina Raquel Zaragoza and Maritere Benes. The ssemi-finalists were: Haylis Cordova; Anaiza Morales; Jackeline Negron; Marilena Castro; and Tasha Cancio who won the Photogenic Award.

Miss South Dakota USA & Teen USA: 11/11/00
Beth Lovro was crowned Miss South Dakota USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Lainie Hammer. Jessica Herrgott was crowned Miss South Dakota Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Jessica Fjerstad.

Miss Oklahoma USA: 11/11/00
Courtney Ameretta Phillips was crowned Miss Oklahoma USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Anna Elizabeth Freeman; 2nd runner up was Barbara Stacy; 3rd runner up was Stephanie Dawn Box; and the 4th runner up was Krystal Walker who also won the Congeniality Aaward. The semi-finalists were: Katherine Morris; Corbi Dawn Wells, Miss Collinsville; Melissa McMillan, Miss Midwest; Courtney Jo Langley; and Teressa Sorenson.

Miss Oklahoma Teen USA: 11/11/00
Lindsey Camp was crowned Miss Oklahoma Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Taryn Jacobson; 2nd runner up was Ashley Anne Cowan; 3rd runner up was Abbey Payne; and the 4th runner up was Emoly West. The semi-finalists were: Michelle McCoy; Errin Rachelle Rutherford; Rachel Kircher; and Chelsea Celsar who also won the Congeniality Award.

Miss Connecticut Teen USA: 11/13/00
Amy Vanderouef was crowned Miss Connecticut USA. She also won the Congeniality Award and will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Myra Soto and the 2nd runner up was Silva Gomes who was Miss Connecticut America 1999 who also won the Photogenic Award. The semi-finalists were: Mary Mudry; Lauren Pagani; Tina Froeberg; Jenny Aguilera; and Alyssa Noller.

Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA: 11/11/00
Rebecca Schlappich, 17, was crowned Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. Jillian Parry of Pennsylvania is the current Miss Teen USA and was a special guest. The 1st runner up was Carolyn Jennings; 2nd runner up was Tanya Lehman of York. The finalists were: Brittany Border and Lauren Pollick.

Miss Colombia: 11/11/00
Andrea Maria Noceti Gomez, 22, was crowned Miss Colombia. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant. Maria Rocio Stevenson Covo will compete in the 2001 Miss International Pageant. The 1st runner up was Monica Caicedo Valencia; 2nd runner up was Giselle Garces; 3rd runner up was Ludsey Edith Ibarra Rangel.

Miss Arizona USA: 11/11/00
Tasha Dixon was crowned Miss Arizona USA. She will compete in thw 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Kristy Kay Stover who was Miss Arizona Teen USA 1998; 2nd runner up was Maria Pallas; 3rd runner up was from North Scottsdale; and the 4th runner up was April Esner.
