Nuestra Belleza Mexico: 9/9/00
Jacqueline Bracamontes Van-Hoorde of Jalisco, was crowned Nuestra Belleza Mexico. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant in Puerto Rico. Paulina Flores Arias of Sinaola was crowned Nuestra Belleza Mexico Mundo. She will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant.

Miss Iowa USA: 9/17/00
Clarissa Kroese of Pella was crowned Miss Iowa USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant in Indiana. More info to come.

Ashley Hanson of Spencer, 17, was crowned Miss Iowa Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant next year. More info to come.

Miss Puerto Rico World: 9/22/00
Sarybel Velilla, 24, of Toa Alta was crowned Miss Puerto Rico World. She will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant in London. The 1st runner up was Barbara Serrano and the 2nd runner up was Chay Lynn Santini. Cynthia E. Lopez won the Congeniality Award.

Miss Lebanon: 9/22/00
Sandra Rizk, 18, of Koura was crowned Miss Lebanon. She will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant and the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant. The 1st runner up was Natalie Maamary, 18; and the 2nd runner up was Maya Mroue, 18.

Miss Switzerland: 9/15/00
Mahara Mc Kay, 19, of Untersiggenthal was crowned Miss Switzerland. She will compete in both the 2000 Miss World Pageant and the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant. The 1st runner up was Mascha Santschi of Bern and the 2nd runner up was Alexandra Coulet of Geneva.

Teen Model International: 9/9/00
Vanessa Bonilha, 18, of Brazil won the title of Teen Model International in Honduras. The 1st runner up was Cristina Yaneth Rodriguez Tablas of Honduras; 2nd runner up was Valerie Chua of Singapore; 3rd runner up was Elizabeth Payaeros Vargas of Dominican Republic; and the 4th runner up was Nancy Argueta Munoz of Costa Rica.

Miss Kansas USA: 9/9/00
Kristie Knox, 25, of Hutchinson was crowned Miss Kansas USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Brie Strohmeyer of Manhattan; 2nd runner up was Najahe Alyce Sherman of Lawrence; 3rd runner up was Lisa Marie Forbes of Overland Park; and the 4th runner up was Jahree Thaw of Sunflower. The reminaing semi-finalists were Amy Catherine Linimon; Laura Chudy; Lindsay Vogel; Virginia Lee Cates; Jane Margaritis; and Alicia Angelina Cabrera.

Miss Kansas Teen USA: 9/9/00
Lyndsey Mackey was crowned Miss Kansas Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Trinity GleeAnn Wright; 2nd runner up was Adrienne Diane Rosel; 3rd runner up was Lisa Marie Theno; and the 4th runner up was Elainne Graham Dickinson. The remaning semi-finalists were Bethany Michelle Pope; Megan Marie Guhl; Marcail Price; Adria Lenon; Sunny Garcia; Annie Chastain; and Miranda Lynne Davison.

Miss Jamaica World: 9/9/00
Ayisha Richards was crowned Miss Jamaica World. She will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant. The 1st runner up was Melanie Owen; 2nd runner up was Marsha-Ann Hay; 3rd runner up was Nicole Brown; and 4th runner up was Tenika Gapaulsingh. The remaining semi-finalists were Gayle Harvey; Tamika Nevers; Rowena Banton; Triana Reynolds; and Jacqueline Jackson.

Miss Tourism Universe: 8/??/00
Sharmin Diaz, 20, of Dominican Republic was crowned Miss Tourism Universe in Ecuador.

Miss Latina USA: 9/??/00
Cindy Vela of South Texas was crowned Miss Latina USA 2000 in Texas. Vela has competed in the Miss Texas USA pageant, and Miss Petite Texas International. She will represent the US at the Miss Latina World Pageant next spring in Florida. The 1st runner up was Maria Diaz of New York; 2nd runner up was Christina Alfaro; 3rd runner up was Alejandra Ochoa of California. Ana Laura Ramirez of Nevada won the Miss Photogenic Award.

Miss Junior Teen America: 9/10/00
Alysha Castonguay of Rhode Island was crowned Miss Junior Teen America 2000 in Connecticut. More info to come.

Miss Venezuela Universe: 9/8/00
Eva Ekval, 17, of Apure was crowned Miss Venezuela Universe. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant in Puerto Rico next year. She also won the Miss Photogenic and Miss Internet titles. The 1st runner up was Vivian Urdaneta of Costa Oriental who will compete in the 2000 Miss International Pageant. The 2nd runner up was Ligia Petit of Guarico. The remaining semi-finalists came from Zulia; Anzoategui; Distrito Capital; Bolivar; Peninsula Goajira; Nueva Esparta; and Cojedes.

Miss Italy: 9/10/00
Tania Zamparo was crowned Miss Italy. She won the title over 99 other delegates, no word on what pageant shr will compete in. The 1st runner up was Barbara di Palma; 2nd runner up was Alessia Signorini. The 4th runner up was Cecilia Capriotti; 5th place was Pamela Zichichi; and 6th place to Virginia Lolli.

Miss Montana USA & Teen USA:
CaCe Hardy, 18, was crowned Miss Montana USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Amanda Ryen. Lacee Lindsay received the Congeniality Award. Kristi Krings, 16, was crowned Miss Montana Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Sophia Steinbeisser; and the 2nd runner up was Cherish Fehr who also won the Congeniality Award.

National Sweetheart: 9/2/00
Mackenzie Mayes of Kentucky was crowned National Sweetheart 2000 in Illinois. The 1st runner up was Karyn Williams of Florida; 2nd runner up was Pierrette Robertson of California; 3rd runner up was Jennifer Nolet of New Hampshire and the 4th runner up was Felicia Curry of Maryland. Andrea Gene Ison, 21, of Ohio won the Congeniality Award.

Miss North Dakota Teen USA & USA: 9/2/00
Michelle Guthmiller was crowned Miss North Dakota USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant in Indiana. Stacey Thomas was crowned Miss North Dakota Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant next year.

Miss California USA: 9/2/00
Jennifer Glover of Bay Cities was crowned Miss California USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant in February. In 1999, she represented the USA at the Miss International Pageant. The 1st runner up was Michelle Cardamon of La Habra who was Miss California Teen USA 1996 and 2nd runner up at Miss Teen USA. The 2nd runner up was Jessica Moralez of Westwood. The finalists were Robin Chamberlain and Christie Lofman. The semi-finalists were Heidi Watney, Merideth Cooper, Stevie Sweeney, Heather Stocks, and Kacy Trosper.

Miss California Teen USA: 9/2/00
Casey McClain of San Marcos was crowned Miss California Teen USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Teen USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Deventria Howard of Fresno; and the 2nd runner up was Amy Giest of Vacaville. The finalists were Jessica Nettinga and Lauren Lenhart. The semi-finalists were Jessica Taylor; Alicia Murray, Lindsay Hilz, Shannon Byrne, and Emelia Garkovich.

Miss Ireland: 8/29/00
Yvonne Ellard of Kilkenny was crowned Miss Ireland. She will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant. The 1st runner up was Lesley Turner, 19, of Limerick who will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant. The 2nd runner up was Jennifer Grant, 21 of Dublin.

Miss Panama: 9/1/00
Ivette Cordovez was crowned Miss Panama. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant in May. The 1st runner up was Ana Raquel Ochy, she will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant in November. The 2nd runner up was Adriana Roquer who will compete in the Miss Asia Pacific Pageant.

Mrs. America: 9/1/00
Leslie Lam of Hawaii was crowned Mrs. America in Hawaii. She will compete in the 2000 Mrs. World Pageant. She also won the Congeniality Award and Best State Costume Awards. The 1st runner up was Ellen Story Chase of Virginia; 2nd runner up was Jaynie Poteet-Dominguez of Georgia; 3rd runner up from Arizona; and the 4th runner up from Alabama who also won the Photogenic Award. The remaining semi-finalists were from Minnesota; Maryland; Kentucky; Massachusetts; & Colorado. New Mexico won the Fitness Award; Nebraska won Most Ads Sold; Colorado won Best Original Costume; New Jersey won Best Whimsical Costume. TV ALERT: The 2000 Mrs. America Pageant can be seen on the PAX-TV Network on Sunday October 8th from 9 to 11pm and Sunday October 15th from 4 to 6pm. The 2000 Mrs. World Pageant can be seen on January 7, 2001 from 9 to 11pm and January 14th from 4 to 6pm on PAX-TV. More info to come.

Miss Italy of the World: 9/1/00
Barbara Clara of Venezuela was crowned Miss Italy of the World. The 1st runner up was Monica Cortese of Lichtenstein. The finalists were Sabrina Cadetto of Venezuela of Camila Arioli of Brazil; Rossella Pignato of Belgium; & Liliana Mele of Ethiopia.

Miss Teen USA 2000: 8/26/00
Jillian Parry, 17, of Pennsylvania was crowned Miss Teen USA 2000 in Shreveport, Louisiana. The 1st runner up was Nicole O'Brian, 17, of Texas who also won the Semi-final swimsuit competition award; and the 2nd runner up was Kristen Johnson, 18, of Kentucky who won the Photogenic Award. The finalists were Abby Vaillancourt, 19, of Georgia who won the Style Award; and Casey Lauren Porter, 17, of Tennessee. The semi-finalists were Tiara Dews, 18, of District of Columbia; Caitlin Marie McIntosh, 17, Missouri; Kera Boog, 16, of Indiana; Megan Monroe, 16, Washington; and Jonine Aimee Moch, 17, of Louisiana. Miss Bahamas: 8/10/00
Nakeria Simms was crowned Miss Bahamas. She also received Miss Photogenic and will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant in Puerto Rico. Latia Bowe will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant, she also won Best Costume. Quintelle Ferguson won Miss Amity. Latai Bowe also won Miss Photogenic.

Miss Honduras: 8/10/00
Veronica Alejandra Rivas was crowned Miss Honduras. She will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant. More info to come.

Miss New Mexico USA: 8/12/00
Jennifer Adams, 22, of Las Cruces was crowned Miss New Mexico USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant in Indiana. The 1st runner up was Bridget Richard; 2nd runner up was Nikki Martinez; 3rd runner up was Candy Appel who also won Photogenic; and the 4th runner up was Vicki Hughes who is a former Miss New Mexico Teen USA. Nancy Carrasco won Congeniality.

Miss American United States Teen: 8/12/00
Amber Coffman of Maryland was crowned Miss American United States Teen. She has an impressive pageant resume as being a former Miss Young America and Miss Maryland Teen USA. The 1st runner up was Jenna Edwards of Louisiana; 2nd runner up was Sarah Hoyer of Virginia; 3rd runner up was Megan Guerra; and the 4th runner up was Danica Novitski of Illinois.

Ms American United States: 8/12/00
Alanna Thompson of Connecticut was crowned Ms American United States. The 1st runner up was Nicole Llewellyn of Indiana who was Miss Indiana Teen USA 1992 and Miss Indiana USA 1998; 3rd runner up was Lori-Ann Navares of Hawaii; and the 4th runner up was Syke Lucas of South Carolina.

Ms American United States Woman: 8/12/00
Shirley Davis Manual of Virginia was crowned Ms American United States Woman. The 1st runner up was Elizabeth Price of Indiana; 2nd runner up was Carrie Coggins of Tennessee; 3rd runner up was Lynn Poor of Ohio; and the 4th runner up was Victoria Mallow of West Virginia.

Miss Latina USA: 8/10/00
Cindy Vela of South Texas was crowned Miss Latina USA. The 1st runner up was Maria Del Milagro Diaz of New York; 2nd runner up was Christina Alfaro of Texas; and the 3rd runner up was Alejandra Ochoa of California.

Miss Teen Latina USA: 8/10/00
Emily Rosa of Puerto Rico was crowned Miss Teen Latina USA. The1st runner up was Kimberly M. Bebon of South Texas; 2nd runner up was Margaret Rae Flores of Southwest Texas; and 3rd runner up was Stefni Valencia of California.

Miss Teen International: 8/9/00
Ayanette Mary Ann Statia of Curacao was crowned Miss Teen International in Aruba. She also won the Miss Photogenic Award. The 1st runner up was Alinda Boer Reyes of Guatemala who also won the Miss Congeniality Award and the 2nd runner up was Grettel Llibri Marin of Costa Rica. The semi-finalists were Jill Nicholson of USA; Diana Wiest of Colombia who also won Miss Photo Model; Jessika Urritazo of Venezuela who also won the best evening gown´s designer award & Best National Costume; & Kristel Janga of Bonaire who also won Miss Teen Tourism. Kelly Boes of Canada also won the Miss Congeniality Award.

Miss Brittish Virgin Islands: 8/7/00
Shakima Nashama Stoutt, 17, was crowned Miss Brittish Virgin Islands. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant.

Miss Bolivia: 8/7/00
Claudia Aranob was crowned Miss Bolivia. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant in Puerto Rico. More info to come.

Miss Turks & Caicos: 8/7/00
Shereen Gardiner was crowned Miss Turks & Caicos. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant in Puerto Rico. The 1st runner up was Shyann Gardiner who also won the Swimsuit and Photogenic Awards. The 2nd runner up was Patrice Simmons; 3rd runner up was Catrina Simmons; 4th runner up was Keda Handfield. Catrina Simmons won Miss Amity.

Miss World Trindad-Tobago: 8/8/00
Rhonda Rosemin, 22, was crowned Miss World Trinidad-Tobago. She also won best phisique/body and will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant in November. The 1st runner up was Tricia Lee and the 2nd runner up was Marissa Mcleod.

Miss Connecticut Teen All American 06/23/00
Melanie Mudry, 19 of Bristol, was crowned the new Miss Connecticut Teen All American. She will compete for the title of Miss Teen All American held in Miami in August. The first runner up was Dakota Cintron, and the second
runner up was Erica Durso.

Miss Oregon America: 7/15/00
Angela Brink of Roseburg, 21, was crowned Miss Oregon America. She will compete in the 2001 Miss America Pageant. The 1st runner up was Katie Marie Harman, 19, and she will compete in the 2000 National Miss Sweetheart Pageant. The 2nd runner up was Jacqueline Wirz, 20; 3rd runner up was Heidi Rickey, 17; and the 4th runner up was Katie Byers, 18.

Miss Texas USA: 7/17/00
Kandace Krueger, 24, was crowned Miss Texas USA. She also won the Photogenic Award and she will compete in the 2001 Miss USA Pageant. The 1st runner up was Mandy Jeffreys who was Miss Texas Teen USA 1995; 2nd runner up was Kasi Kelly; 3rd runner up was Stephanie Guerrero; and the 4th runner up was Kelli Pickel. The semi-finalists were Alisa Lenamond; Constance Gaines; Nicole Neal; Valerie Ogilvie; Lee Ann Howell; Kristie Keeton, and Andrea Mullins who is also a former Miss Texas Teen USA.

Miss Internet Beauty: 6/10/00
Sabinne Nahas, 27. She won the title of Miss Internet Beauty in Lebanon. The runner ups were Christine Sawaya, Lamya
Al-Hashim, Rola Al-Jemaiel, and Alexandra Kahwaji.

Miss Florida America: 6/28/00
Candace Rodatz, 24, was crowned Miss Florida America. She will compete in the 2001 Miss America Pageant in October. The 1st runner up was Kimberly Williams; 2nd runner up was Shauna Pender; 3rd runner up was Jamie Riney
Melanie Hill; and the 4th runner up was Erika Valdez.

America's Junior Miss 2000: 6/28/00
Jesika Henderson of Utah won the title of America's Junior Miss 2000 in Alabama. The 1st runner up was Katie Boyd of Alabama & the 2nd runner up was Allison Lauber of Wisconsin. Miss Blonde:
Jana Prihodova from Czech Republic, 17, was crowned Miss Blonde. The 1st runner up was Gabriela Adamcova from Czech Republic; and the 2nd runner up was Myriam Saurer from Switzerland.

Pageant News:
Leticia Murray will compete in the 2000 Miss International Pageant. 110 contestants will compete for the 2000 Miss World title. It seems that the 2001 50th Anniversary Miss Universe Pageant will be held in Puerto Rico. Lara Dutta, Miss Univers 2000 will be going back to India on July 16th for a homecoming.

Queen of the Year:
Evelyn Lopez of Guatemala was crowned Queen of the Year.

Miss World Venezuela: 7/9/00
Vanessa Maria Cardenas Bravo was crowned Miss World Venezuela. She will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant in November. She was crowned by Martina Thorogood who was 1st runner up at the 1999 Miss World Pageant.

Miss Florida USA: 7/13/00
Julie Donaldson was crowned Miss Florida USA. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Florida USA Pageant in Indiana. The 1st runner up was Robin Sprague who also won the Miss Photogenic Award. 2nd runner up was Janel Bird; 3rd runner up was Jacklyn Neishwat and the 4th runner up was Erica Valdez. Traci Bennett won the Miss Amity Award. The semi-finalists were, Crystal Jackson; Melanie Hill; Stephania Glock; Jaclyn Nesheiwat; Melissa Jayne; Brittney Godwin; Amanda "Mandy" Carroll; Alissa Miller; Shannon Smith; Julie Donaldson & Vedra Beach.

Miss Hong Kong: 7/9/00
Vivian Lau, 21, was crowned Miss Hong Kong. She is a student from Vancouver & she also won Miss Photogenic, Miss International Goodview & Miss Millienium Charm. She will complete Miss Chinese International 2001 & the Miss Universe Pageant 2001. The first runner-up is Margaret Kan Pui-kin,20. She is a student also & will complete the 50th Miss World Pageant in London. The second runner-up is Maree Lau.She is 25 & she will complete Miss International Beauty. Mandy Lam Suk-man,24,who is a flight attedant, won Miss Internet Popularity.

Miss Aruba: 7/7/00
Denise Balinge was crowned Miss Aruba. She will compete in the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant. Monique Van Der Horn will compete in the 2000 Miss World Pageant. Carolina Alberts will compete in the 2000 Miss International Pageant. Jasmira Mora will compete in the Queen of the Flowers Pageant.

Miss USA Interational:
Driandra Johnson-Jayes, 20, was crowned Mss USA International. Sh will compete in the 2000 Miss International Pageant.

Miss San Marino: 4/8/00
Chiara Valentini was crowned Miss San Marino. She willl compete in the Miss Europe, and Miss International Pageants.

Miss Kentucky Teen USA: 6/17/00
Kristen Johnson was crowned Miss Kentucky Teen USA. She will compete in the 2000 Miss Teen USA Pageant. More info to come.

Miss North Carolina America: 6/17/00
Lorna McNeill, 23, of Lumberton, was crowned Miss North Carolina America. She is a student at University of North Carolina. The 1st runner up was Stacey Parker; 2nd runner up was Miranda Fowler; 3rd runner up was Kate Marie Hanson; and the 4th runner up was Adrienne Clarissa Perry. The semi-finalists were Dana Pate; Dana Downing; Shina Miller; Elizabeth Shoe; and Sherrita Pender.

Miss Utah America: 6/17/00
Jami Leilani Palmer of Northern Counties, was crowned Miss Utah America. Her platform is "Promoting Pediatric Cancer Awareness". She will compete in the 2001 Miss America Pageant. The 1st runner up was Holly Coleogyne Isaman; 2nd runner up was Ashlee Shaw; 3rd runner up was Julianne Jackson; and the 4th runner up was Joanna Larsen. Miss New Jersey America: 6/17/00
Jill Horner, 21, was crowned Miss New Jersey America. She will compete in the 2001 Miss America Pageant. Her platform is Environmental Education. The 1st runner up was Patience Krown; 2nd runner up was Robin Williams; 3rd runner up was Kameilah Marjied; and the 4th runner up was Apriell Riposta. The semi-finalists were Jamie Ginn; Julie Barber; Allison Woldanski; Amy Stillwell; and Kim Strother.
