Miss USA Pageant 50th Anniversary
The 2001 "50th Anniversary Year" Miss USA Pageant will be held in Gary, Indiana on March 2, 2001. Lynnette Cole of Tennessee will crown Miss USA 2001 at the end of the 2 hour event. I will hopefully be attending the pageant, but it depends on my college scheduale. If you have any updates on the Pageant please send them to beauty_pageant99@hotmail.com. The Miss USA Delegates will begin arriving in Gary on February 14, 2001. Prior to that, the delegates may be going to Orlando, Florida for a get together.

Patti Dunn, Miss Georgia USA 2000, will be a single girl on the new reality series, "Temptation Island". The show airs Wednesdays on the FOX Network.

Elizabeth Barchas, Miss Idaho USA appeared on the hit game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire's College Edition" on December 20, 2000. She didn't make it to the big millionaire seat but maybe she will win the Miss USA crown.

The 2001 Miss USA Pageant will be held in Gary, Indiana on March 2, 2001 at the Genesis Convention Center.
