1. EyEs
A. EyEsHaDoW
To make your eyeshadow last longer, apply foundation to eyelids.
If you use a flat eyeshadow brush, eyeshadow goes on thicker.
Blow on eyeshadow brush before applying to eyes to rid of excess
shadow.
B. EyElInEr
a. LiQuId
Apply liquid eyeliner smoothly. The less you stop when applying,
the smoother the line will come out.
Before applying liquid eyeliner, wipe of the brush on a tissue.
When you apply, you will have less of a chance of messing up. The
line also comes out lighter and not as dark.
b. PeNcIl
Wet the tip of the pencil before applying eyeliner. This makes it
have a softer look and it will go on your eyes smoother.
As with liquid eyeliner, apply the line smoothly. It will look
less broken once it is on.
C. MaScArA
Apply lightly and evenly. Less is more. If you don't, you could
end up with clumps and globs.
To rid of excess clumps, brush your eyelashes with an eyelash comb.
If you run out of mascara, try applying some Vasaline. It makes
lashes look longer.
Before applying, wipe the wand with a tissue. This prevents the
mascara from going on too thick.
For a softer look, apply only to the top lashes.
2. LiPs
A. LiPsTiCk
For longer lasting lipstick, apply a dab of foundation to your lips.
If you have fair skin, apply colors such as light pinks and other
natural colors.
If you have tan skin, apply deeper pinks or light browns.
If you have dark skin, apply darker colors such as browns and dark
reds.
If you have extra lipgloss or even Vasaline and unused eyeshadows,
you can create your own lipstick by mixing them together.
B. LiPgLoSs
For a shine that stands out, apply extra gloss to the center of your
bottom lip.
For a slight ting, apply a bit of lipstick underneath and
apply lipgloss to select spots on lips.
C. LiPlInEr
Apply colors that match your lipstick. Blend in after.
Buy lipliners that are also lipsticks. You may use as either or.
3. FoUnDaTiOn
A. FoUnDaTiOn
Find colors that are not orangie.
If you have oily skin, find foundations that are oil-controlling.
4. ChEeKs
A. BlUsH
Blow on brush before applying your blush.
When choosing a color for blush, go for colors that accent your skin
tone. You can tell what color to buy when your flushed. The color
red your skin turns is your blush color.
