| LESSON ONE How to apply foundation, concealer, and loose powder: -Start with a clean face, and use a fingertip to dot a liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer on your nose, forehead, chin, and cheeks (five dots in all). Use two fingertips or a makeup sponge to blend the color into your face with short strokes. -If you can still see a little under-eye darkness through your make-up, take a concealer, tilt your chin down slightly, then look up-with just your eyes. Apply a drop of concealer with a fingertip any place you can see dark shadows. Blend! -To cover zits, dab a small brush in concealer, then dot it right on the spot (don't use a finger-a pimple's pretty teensy and a wide fingertip will make it harder to get the concealer on just the spot). Finish by blending out the edges of the zit with your finger. -Dig a big, fluffy brush in loose powder, tap it onto an open, unfolded tissue to get rid of any excess, then sweep the brush once or twice over your oilier areas (like your nose or chin) so your foundation won't fade or turn orange-ish. Check back later for lesson two. ****************************************************************************************** STEAL THIS LOOK: This is how to get Britney's eyes from the stronger video: -First, you apply a silver cream eye shadow on your eyelid (try Maybeline Cool Effects in Steely Glaze). -Then line your upper lid with a black kohl eyeliner getting thicker as you get closer to the outer part of the eye. -Line the bottom lid. -Put on black mascara, and now you're eyes look Brit's. |
