| The Story of Baybee Ayleeyin Baybee Ayleeyin's Summer Vacation Chapter 5 At The Airport We arrived at the airport with an hour to sit and wait. Baybee was interested in all the knick-knacks in the gift shop. He was particularly interested in the plush cockatoo. As much as I hate to spend the extra money at the airport gift shops, I could not resist the look on his face. Darla and I split the cost of the little stuffed bird. I was well worth it when we saw him hug the toy all afternoon. When we boarded the plane, Darla thought it would be a good idea to give Baybee Ayleeyin the window seat. "This will keep him occupied and lessen the chance of him becoming bored." She said. Baybee really enjoyed the view. At take-off, he watched the clouds and the sunset. He chattered a mile-a-minute about the solar system and the weather. I don't think he was quiet for a single minute, until fifteen minutes before landing. He fell asleep hugging his plush cockatoo. (Week 2) |
