| 1. Can you give us some band history, including any previous members and what they're doing now? Upon my departure from a band I played bass in called the Creamers, in 1993 I left and formed Snap-Her. Iam the only original member in Snap-Her as you can imagine how many personell changes I have had in this band. I do not have time to keep up on what band, drug rehab center, or lack of life my ex band members are up to, so I cannot answer that part of your question. 2. What is the current line up? Tom Curry on the Drums, Vince Buckley on guitar, Andi Beltramo on bass and lead vocals. Tom and Vince also do a LOT of backing vocals, that is something I require. 3. How did you come up with the name Snap-Her? Snapper means pussy, but when I found out that there used to be a hippie folk band with that name(in the 80s)I swiftly changed the spelling....to...SNAP-HER. 4. What other bands influence the music you play? The Clash, Rose Tattoo, The Runaways and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, The Business, Chelsea and many many more... 5. What is your favourite song / album of all time? The Clash's Sandinista. 6. What is your favourite song from your own set list and why? 'I was a teenage lipstick Lesbian' because I was. 7. Apart from punk / ska, what other music do you secretly like? I ain't no secret! Reggae, calypso, Rockabilly, psycobilly, Motown funk, Soul, traditional Country Western, classical, big band jazz, Delta blues, Flamenco and even some Heavy Metal bands such as AC/DC and Motorhead. I am a true music fan, passionate and a purist. 8. What music did you grow up listening to? Rockabilly, Tango, big band jazz and then....punk rock exploded in 1977 when I was 12 years old. I stared listening to it but did not know it was called 'punk'. 9. What's the most memorable gig you have ever played? The squeeze box in New York City in 1995 10. Do you regard music as a vein through which to project your views, political or otherwise, or is it an issue of money and given the chance you would "sellout" like The offspring and Green day have? You are so far off track! NEITHER one of those options you gave me are the reason why Iam making music. Please read the answer to question number seven(have you ever found the clitoris?). 11. What advice would you give to any up and coming bands? Sellout if you can, loads of other SHITE bands already have, why shoulnd't you!!? 12. Any final comments? FUCK Hippies or any bleeding heart liberals, Fuck Riot Grrrls(in the ass), Fuck Crusty hippes, and Fuck yourselves!! I do it all the time, it feels great!!!
