As the disheartening horseman begins to ride,
I hear the sound of the wolves about to fight,
And the scarecrow begins to tell his lies,
As I lay breathlessly through the night,
My eyes hurt from the coming light,
The sun rose high into the sky,
The day has come as the night said goodbye,
I begin to run and find a place to hide,
But I still hear the faint cry,
But wait, here returns the night,
And I realize the horseman can't die. |
