| Property Ownership May Be Closer Than You Think |

In Tarrant County, when a property owner is in delinquency or default of property taxes, or when a legal judgement has been levied upon an individual who owns exempt property in the county, that property may be sold to the highest bidder at a "constable sale".
These sales are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month at approximately 10:00 AM. You must go through the Tarrant County Tax Assessor/Collectors office to gain "authorization to bid" and should be very knowledgeable about real estate and real estate laws. For most, consulting an attorney would be advisable before participating in these sales.
For an additional fee, Auction News will inform you of all the Tax Sales taking place in the county including physical street addresses. Ask to have these sales included when you subscribe to the Auction News calender.
