This week might very well be the final update for our WWF
No Mercy preview. To go out with a bang, who better to talk about the game
than our virtual guests, Jerry "The King" Lawler and Jim Ross, commentators
for the WWF's successful weekly broadcast WWF Raw? |

JR Good Ole JR here with Jerry "The King" Lawler, and
today we're going to take a look at one of the most promising games to
ever feature the World Wrestling Federation! |
King Not to mention one of the most promising
games to feature me as the main character! |
JR Actually, King, I'm the one who's been
announced so far, not you. Anyway, let's get right to the goods. This game
is going to deliver on nearly every aspect of the WWF. The best way to
do that is in the career mode. In WWF No Mercy you get to choose which
belt you go after, and let's answer the popular question right now: every
WWF championship is included, fit with all the glitz and prestige that
accompanies them! |
King Wow! That is lifelike. This game is going to seem

JR Please, King! This is a family website.
Speaking of the title belts, we just recently found out that the wrestlers
can wear up to three of them down to the ring. We've taken the liberty
of grabbing a picture of the Texas Rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin
on his way to the squared circle with the title over his shoulder. Take
a look at that! |

King What an ugly mug, that's why a stud like myself
is the main character and not some drunken, loud-mouthed punk like him!
Hey, at least that highlight trick was pretty neat. |
JR Better watch yourself, King, the Rattlesnake won't
think twice about putting the boots to you in No Mercy. As a matter of
fact, he might take you out in the newly announced Iron-Man match or even
a deadly ladder match! |
King What are you talking about, JR, have you lost your
mind? No game can pull off a ladder match. |
JR On the contrary, not only will No Mercy feature a
ladder match, but the ladder will start on the outside of the ring and
can be used as a powerful weapon. Players can even jump from the top with
their own unique top-rope maneuvers to create maximum carnage. All this,
King, and we finally have proof. Take a look at this action shot. Notice
the ladder looming in the distance. |

like the Rock is in that photo! Just you wait and see, Ross! |
JR Somehow I doubt that, King. As we've all seen, WWF
No Mercy is going to be one of the most realistic wrestling games to hit
shelves. The dedicated members of AKI have even included up to date arenas.
Look for the new Raw set, Armageddon, Backlash, King of the Ring, No Mercy,
Royal Rumble, Smackdown, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, WrestleMania, and
possibly more! |

JR Sigh, yes, King. The women will be in there as well.
Everyone from Mae Young and a Ho to the Kat and Linda McMahon will step
into No Mercy's ring. As a matter of fact, here's the current, yet still
unfinished, roster if you can manage to take your eyes off of the Goodfather's
former lady. The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Kane, the
Undertaker, Cactus Jack, Mankind, Mick Foley, the Big Show, X-Pac, Triple
H, Road Dogg Jesse James, Bad Ass Billy Gunn, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko,

JR Sorry, King, but we're out of time! Before we go,
I'd like to remind people that there will be two breakable announce tables
at ringside in No Mercy and that anyone can climb on and inevitably go
through them during a match. There might even be a table in one of the
several weapon filled backstage areas including the stage, a lockerroom,
and a pub which are being implemented as we speak! Ladies and gentlemen,
this game is going to be a real slobberknocker, and it's coming to your
Nintendo 64 this Fall! For Jerry "The King" Lawler and the rest of the
