Create-A-Wrestler Mode
-Create wrestlers by the detail. Customize eyes, ears, their nose and their mouth. That is how customized it is. It is far, far superior to WWF Warzone's Create-A-Wrestler feature.
Career Mode (1 player)
-You'll start by selecting a wrestler and fighting at house shows. As you win matches, you move up in the rankings for the European title. As you become more popular with more wins, you get to fight on Shotgun, Heat, Raw and on PPV's. After winning the euro belt, you will be ranked 15 for the IC title. if you win the IC belt, you will be ranked 8 for the heavyweight. Then the current champ will feel threatened by you. He will interfere in your matches and challenge you to tag team wars. After a bit, you get your title shot.
Versus (1 or 2 players)
-Simple one on one action. It has been confirmed by Acclaim employees that you WILL be able to choose your own opponent in versus mode. Thank God.
Create-Your-Own-PPV
-This mode sounds very interesting. You can pick matches for a PPV in which you will name. You will also state the stipulations for the matches. As well as creating your own PPV, you get to edit the stadium in which the PPV will be held in.
Tag Team (1-4 players)
-Plain tag team action. And yes, you CAN choose your opponents.
Triple Threat Match (1-3 players)
-We all know what a triple threat match is. We saw about 25 of them between Austin/Kane/Undertaker last year alone. I'm getting sick of saying it, so if a match involves you fighting against the computer, you CAN pick your opponent(s).
Steel Cage (1-4 players)
-Same thing as in War Zone. This is NOT the Hell in a Cell cage, it is the cage which was used at St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Maybe they'll put some ropes inside the cage this time.
Nuclear War (1-4 players)
-Word has it this is the same as the war mode in War Zone. It's a tag team match but everyone is in the ring at the same time.
Submission (1 or 2 players)
-Also known as an 'I Quit' match. We've all seen em, you know how they work. First man to score a submission on his opponent wins.
2 out of 3 Falls(1 or 2 players)
-Basic singles action with a twist. The first person to score two falls wins.
Lumberjack (1 or 2 players)
-I have no clue on how this will work. I will kill all rumors right now saying there will NOT be 20 wrestlers around the ring ready to throw guys back in. The N64, or any system for that matter, just can't handle that. I hope it's not as pitiful as the WCW/NWO Revenge lumberjack match.
King of the Ring (1-8 players)
-Simple 8-man tournament. Winner is crowned King of the Ring.
Hardcore Match(1-4 players)
-Like a normal singles match except you can beat a guy anywhere. It was in War Zone, it was in Revenge, it'll be in Attitude.
Royal Rumble (1-4 players)
-Just like the Royal Rumble in War Zone. I'm not gonna bother going over how a Royal Rumble works because we all know. I don't know how many participants there will be in the Rumble itself. Odds are it'll be adjustable like in Revenge.
Survivor Series (1-4 players)
-This mode I will explain because recently, Survivor Series' have been about mess job endings and not the elimination matches. Two teams of four men fight it out in one massive tag match. When one man is pinned, he heads off to the locker room. Once all four members of one team are pinned, the match is over. The only question is how they will manage to have 8 guys in one match. Well, they had this mode in WWF Raw for the Sega Genesis. What they did is have it set up like a normal tag match with two guys in the ring, and one partner for each guy on the outside waiting for a tag. By pressing certain buttons, you could cycle through your remaining teammates and they'd replace the guy on the outside waiting for the tag. Expect something similar in Attitude.
Texas Deathmatch (1-4 players)
-Here's how this works. It starts as a normal singles match so to speak. When someone is pinned, they have til the count of ten to get up. If they don't, they're eliminated.
After each and every match, the "Mat Stats" will appear. This will ultimately show who has the bragging rights.
