Mistakes: The Pidgeotto is a Pidgeot. Team Rocket says Alakazam, but it's a Scyther.

Summary: In the beginning we see Ash, Misty, and Brock. Ash is very hungry. Brock is cooking his "Lazy boy no chew stew".
A Pokemon trainer comes and challenges Ash to a match. Ash accepts. Misty says he said that he was too weak to work. Ash says that a Pokemon battle isn't work. Brock says, "Well that's progress, at least his mouth is working." The Pokemon Theme song begins. First it's Bulbasaur vs. a Donfan. Bulbasaur wins with a solar beam. Ash praises Bulbasaur. The next match is Squirtle vs. Machamp. Squirtle wins with bubblebeam. Ash praises Squirtle as well. The other trainer gets desperate and sends out three Pokemon. Pikachu wins this with a thunderbolt. Ash wins the match. We see that Team Rocket was watching them. Meowth starts whining about being hungry. Jessie wanted to cook something, but Meowth refused. He said that the last time Jessie cooked she wiped out eight of his nine lives. They sigh as they keep watching Ash and co. eat. Mewtwo is also watching them. A fearow has the camera attached to its throat. Nurse Joy, who is being controlled by Mewtwo, sends out the invitation. Dragonite brings the invitation to Ash and co. and completely demoloshes the picnic. They listen and watch the invitation. There was a ferry to New Island that day. They replied that they would be going. Dragonite flew off, and Team Rocket stopped him. They read yes, but didn't know to what. Mewtwo starts a storm with its psychic powers. Ash and co. run toward where the ferry is supposed to be. They find that the ferry ride was canceled due to the storm. The attendant predicts that it is the "Winds of Water" storm that was supposed to be a legend. The legend said that the storm wiped out all but a few Pokemon. Those Pokemon's tears restored the lives lost. Some trainers could still go. Ash and co. are brought by Vikings. A big wave destroys the Viking's costumes and they're found to be Team Rocket. Another wave wipes out the ship. Misty sends out Staryu. She finds Brock. Later they join up with Ash. Ash and Misty grab hands. They swim to New Island with their Pokemon. Then we see Mew in a bubble underwater. Mew is released from the bubble and flies off to New Island. Nurse Joy is there to greet Ash and co. She brings them to where they are to meet Mewtwo. After the doors close Team Rocket is whining about missing the party. Jessie finds another way in. They are being followed by Mew. Now we see Ash and co. They are introduced to the other trainer's Pokemon. Mewtwo arrives... Team Rocket is walking in the tunnel. Mew is following them. They arrive at the cloning place. They find out how Mewtwo got cloned.The trainers are fighting with Mewtwo because a Pokemon can't be a Pokemon master. Nurse Joy is returned to normal. Mewtwo beats the Pokemon that try to fight it. Ash challenges Mewtwo to a battle. Now we see Team Rocket. They see Mewtwo's cloned Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur walk out to the arena. Mewtwo had this battle planned all along. The trainers Pokemon battle Mewtwo's clones. All of Mewtwo's cloned Pokemon win. Mewtwo claims his prize, the Pokemon. Pikachu keeps running away. Finally it is caught. Ash runs after Pikachu and is brought to the cloning room. Ash rescues Pikachu. All the Pokemon are cloned and released. Mewtwo's clones come out. He talks about how he will destroy the world. Then Ash and the original Pokemon come out. Ash tries to fight Mewtwo, but Mewtwo sends him flying. Mew saves Ash with a bubble. Mewtwo is surprised. Mew starts playing with its bubbles. Mewtwo fires at Mew. He misses most of the time. Here are Mewtwo's quotes. "Mew, so finally we meet" "I may have been cloned from your DNA, but now I will prove that Mewtwo is stronger than the original." Mewtwo goes after Mew. Finally Mewtwo hits Mew. Mew hits it back after a while and hits Mewtwo. They send their Pokemon against each other. Ash is climbing down. Pikachu refuses to fight. The cloned Pikachu is slapping Pikachu and starts to cry. Ash gets down. The cloned Pikachu finally stops. Mew and Mewtwo start firing beams at each other. Ash runs into the middle of one beam. He is turned to stone. Pikachu runs out and tries to wake him up by shocking him. Misty says, "Please no". Pikachu can't wake him up. All the Pokemon start crying. Their tears fly to him. All the tears revive him. Mewtwo realizes his mistake and takes the clones with him. Ash and the rest of the trainers are sent back with no memory. The storm stops. Ash sees Mew in the sky again. Team Rocket are the only ones still on the island in the end. They don't have any memory either.
