American name: Ashton Ketchum American nickname: Ash Ketchum (duh) Japanese name: Satoshi Age: 11 in America (He said "I can't believe it's been a year since we've been here" when they got to Viridian City) 14 in Japan Fondness: Misty (He just won't admit it ^-^) Favorite quote: Me care about her?! HMPH! Gender: Male (Purin: What else?!) Goal: To become the world's greatest Pokemon master. Pokemon (Past and present): Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot, Bulbasaur, Muk, Krabby, Kingler, Caterpie, Metapod, Butterfree, Primeape, Haunter, Tauros, Raticate, Snorlax, Lapras, Heracross, Chikorita (which amazingly has a crush on him...). Favorite Pokemon: Pikachu American voice: Veronica Taylor (yes it is played by a girl. hehe) Japanese voice: Matsumoto Rica Interesting Facts: Ash Ketchum is the main character of the TV series and is also the person you play in the Pokemon gameboy games (Except Gold and Silver). He was late getting to Professor Oak, so he got the only Pokemon left, Pikachu! Pikachu wasn't exactly thrilled with it's new trainer. Ash was the fourth to leave Pallet Town (Last). His rival is Gary Oak. After a while, Ash earns Pikachu's trust, and they go on to battle eight gym leaders and enter the Indigo League. (Also, Orange League and Jolt League) He meets up with Misty, Brock, and Tracey. And just between you and me...his dad is SOOO insensitive...^_^ Check Japanese Undubs fore more information on what happened to his dad. I think that's all.
