»   To protect the privacy of our members, we've created a page with a "universal" password: the FOR MEMBERS ONLY page. If you need a reminder of the password, ARN members please contact ARN at: mailarn@jnetzero.com

»   The FOR MEMBERS ONLY page allows ARN members to share personal information, e.g. home address and phone, bio, messages, etc., with ARN members only.

»   It is understood the information on the FOR MEMBERS ONLY page is not to be shared with anyone without first asking the permission of the ARN member involved.

SENDING YOUR NEWS / UPDATES
»   You can use the very simple, user-friendly FORM FOR MEMBER NEWS on this site to send any news you’d like to share with fellow members and/or the general public, as often as you wish. The Form for Member News can also be used for any questions, comments, etc.

»   Near the bottom of the FORM you'll see several options for entering contact information which can be kept strictly private (for ARN Administration Only), or for ARN Members Only, or available to the general public (For Anyone). It helps us administer the ARN if we have at least basic contact information for you.

»   When the form is filled out and the "Submit" button clicked, the contents are automatically sent to Mary Monroe, ARN web site administrator, via e-mail.

Details for Sending Your News / Updates

»   To keep this site as free of errors as possible, and to make it easier to post information more quickly, members are asked to send their material EXACTLY as they wish it to appear. All you have to do is send your material using the FORM on this site, or in the body of an e-mail, or as an e-mail attachment [MS Word (.doc) or Plain Text (.txt) formats] to mailarn@netzero.com), so that your information can simply be copied and pasted, electronically.

»   If you subsequently discover you've made an error, or wish to make some modifications or updates, simply send a new full document. Your information will be copied and pasted, completely replacing what was previously posted. This approach guarantees that the material appears exactly as you intended, no matter how many times you make modifications. Remember: the ARN cannot be responsible for composing, editing and proof-reading your material -- it is solely up to you.

»   Be sure to also indicate the level of privacy for the information you're sending, e.g. "ARN Administration Only," or "For ARN Members Only," or "For Anyone."

Calendar of Performances / Events Information
Because ARN Members have diverse pursuits, the form on the Calendar of Performances/Events & Form page allows you to invite your fellow members, and the public, to any performance or event you are directly involved with. On the form, you only need to fill out the boxes marked with an asterisk (*), but it is helpful to have the additional information requested.

SPECIAL NOTICES
This page offers ARN members a place to post time-sensitive information, e.g. offering special discounted tickets for a limited time only; looking for a sublet within a limited time range; to soliciting advice/help with a specific need you have; etc.

FREE vs. DONATIONS
Since the ARN's inception, ARN Administrators Tara Hugo, Ron Bagden and Mary Monroe have absorbed all of the ARN operating costs to ensure that services are free to members. We want very much to keep it that way but we have a limit on our combined resources. To help prevent depleting our resources, we send an e-mail once a year to ARN members to update them on new features, remind them of what the ARN continues to offer, and ask them to consider making a small donation (e.g. $5 to $10) toward operating expenses. There is never pressure to donate and "recent graduates' are not asked for donations. We are also open to offers of assistance in lieu of a cash donation.

PHOTOS
»   The PHOTO page has a link to the ARN PHOTO ALBUM. As the ARN offers various events and functions, we've tried to collect photos to share with ARN members. In general, photos are ARN-/RADA-related or have to do with ARN members' pursuits. However, we reserve the right to decide whether or not to post any photo(s) submitted for the ARN PHOTO ALBUM. All photos should be in a JPEG format (.jpg).

»   For MAC users, please note that the photos must be accessible by a PC with a Windows operating system so you'll need to convert your material for use in that format. Usually, the "Save As" function will list options that include conversion to Windows formats.

BUSINESS INFORMATION, BIOS, LINKS FOR ALL PROFESSIONS
We are currently using the MEMBERS INFORMATION page of the site as a simple contact and bio page, which applies whether you’re pursuing a performing arts career or other career pursuits. We can also put a link under your name to any site that directly supports you professionally. (We currently have links for recent graduates to the RADA Graduates’ page, which contains their headshot and resume.)

THE ARN AND THE WEB SITE
Please note that this web site is an interactive communication tool in support of The Americas RADA Network (ARN). The ARN has a variety of pursuits and support mechanisms for its members -- the ARN web site is simply one of them.
