| The next morning,Nick and Alex are sitting at the table eating blueberry waffles and drinking orange juice. Derek walked into the kitchen and only greeted Alex. "Good morning,Alex. How did you sleep?" "Hi,Derek. I slept well. How did you sleep?" Alex asked. Derek replied,"Fine." Derek walked to the draw and picked up the spoon that Nick licked the night before. He had a vision of Nick licking the spoon. "Nick,did you lick the spoon and then put it back in the draw?" Derek asked nastily. "No,Derek. I didn't do that." Nick replied. "Don't lie to me,Nick. I just had a vision of you licking the spoon and putting it away. The spoon area is contaminated. I can't have my grapefruit,now. What am I supposed to have for breakfast?"stated Derek in an upset voice. "Have blueberry waffles." Nick replied. He said to Nick, "I don't want blueberry waffles. I want my regular breakfast-grapefruit,coffee,eggs and toast. Well,if I can't have my breakfast here,then I'll go out to eat." " See you later,Alex." Derek said as he walked out of the kitchen in a huff. After he left the room,Nick and Alex busted up laughing. Alex was a little annoyed with him over the prank he pulled on Derek. "Nick,now he is going to be in a mood all day. You know how Derek is when he doesn't have his breakfast the way he likes it." Alex said with a smile on her face. "I know that I shouldn't have done that,Alex,but Derek pissed me off last night. I was hungry so I went to the kitchen. I was in the mood for ice cream-it was late,and I didn't feel like washing out the bowl after I ate. If I left it in the sink,you know how Derek would have reacted! I got a spoon from the draw and ate the ice cream from the container. I was starving,and I knew that I was going to eat the whole thing. I was really enjoying it,and all of the sudden I heard,'Must you eat out of the container? Can't you use a bowl like a normal person?' The last statement got to me,so I decided to lick the spoon and put it in the draw." Nick said laughing. "I've eatten ice cream out of the container too,Nick. Derek never caught me. I wonder if he would have said the same thing to me that he said to you." Nick replied,"Probably not he likes you-he just tolerates me. You should have seen those pajaymas he was wearing-the pasiley. I was ready to make fun of him for wearing them. I wanted to say'Normal men don't wear a pasiley robe and pjs.'" "You are so funny. Lay off the pratical jokes around Derek for a while,Nick." Alex said to him in a serious voice. "You and Rache apperciate my humor eventhough it is immature. Derek needs to laugh more-he needs to chill out. Maybe Rachel can give him a chill pill."
