Kat was upstairs in her room breaking the spell. 'Mom and Derek just don't
understand that I don't want them to be together. I have to do spells...in
my blood. I hope that I'm not grounded for too long.'Cassie's Room
Cassie opened her eyes and screamed, "Frankie." over and over. Rachel walked over to the bed and tried to calm down the young woman.
"It's ok, Cassie. Who's Frankie?" She asked in a gentle and soothing tone.
Cassie played with a lock of hair. "My aunt...died five years ago. It was all my fault." She broke down in tears.
Rachel hugged her. "Her death wasn't your fault."
"Yes, it was. If I hadn't asked to go to Maggie's, Aunt Frankie wouldn't have been murdered."
Golden Gate Park
"Have you found her yet?" The tall and dark haired man inquired.
"I'm close to finding Cassie Martin. She lives on Angel Island...works for the Luna Foundation. I'm trying to find away inside the house." Grant informed the man.
I say we lure her to us. I say we help her relive the most painful memory from the past...use Anne O'Donnel to help us."
"Fax, you're not going to kill Anne or you?"
"I already did. I'm going to send the pictures to Cassie with a note." Fax laughed.
Derek's Office
Derek was looking up info on grant Harrison when the phone rang. "Derek Rayne."
"Derek, there has been a murder, which seems to be unusual. Do you think you can stop by my office?" Dective Royce asked.
"I'm on my way." The precept replied then hung up the reciever and left his office.
Police Station
Derek looked at the pictures, which Dective David Royce had given him. "What makes you think that you need the help of the Luna Foundation?" Derek asked the younger man.
"It's the third murder with a pentagram inscribed on the woman's body. The woman tried to write something in the dirt looks kind of ocult to me." He replied.
"Where was she found?" Derek was now getting interested in what the dective had to say.
"An abandoned cabin near Golden Gate Park. Name was Anne O'Donnel."
The Control Room
Cassie went downstairs and found Nick hard at work getting all the dirt on Grant Harrison. "Hi, Nick. Why is Grant's picture on the screen?" She asked as she walked over to where Nick was.
"Hi, Cassie. Glad to see you up and about. Grant is a poltergeist trying to get to you." He stated.
"He wants me dead so he can have custody of Kirk. Jake and I have custody of Vickie's two boys. How does he know where I am?" She asked with a frightened look on her face.
"Your aunt told him where you were. Grant threatened her, her daughter and step daughter. This place is a fortress. He won't hurt you...won't let him." Nick said in a reassuring tone.
"I hope you are right. I have a bad feeling like something is going to happen." Her hazel eyes were enormous with fear. Nick rose from his chair and hugged her tightly.
"Nothing is going to happen. I won't let it. It's gonna be ok." Alex entered the control room in her was an envelope.
"This is addressed to you, Cassie." She handed it over to her.
