Chicago Legacy House
Gary Sinclair was sitting at his desk going over his paper work.
He was frowning-had no idea that being a precept required that much
paper work. He thought to himself,'When I was on the Bay City force, I
was able to find a rookie to do my reports for me. I had a secretary to type
up my reports when I did PI work. I miss the action . I've been precept for
a month and all I've been doing is paper work.'
He looked at the clock and saw that it was 4:30. He got up from
his chair and went to the kitchen to get coffee and doughnuts.
Gary sat down at the table and started eating his jelly doughnuts.
His cell phone rang and he answered, "Sinclair, here. How can I help you?"
The voice on the other end said, "Hi, Gary. It's Carlino and I've got
some info that you might be interested in-Grant Harrison."
"What about Grant, Joe?" Gary asked his friend.
"He may be alive. Allie and Remy were vacationing in
Switzerland, and they spotted Grant Harrison. Grant was dead as a door
knob last year...unless he faked his death and bribed the medical examiner
to make it look legit. I and the other officers will be looking into it.
I'll keep you posted, in case it turns out to be a case for the
Luna Foundation." Police Capt. Joe Carlino told his friend.
"Thanks for the info and for keeping me posted, Joe." Gary said.
Gary left the kitchen and headed back to his office.

Nick was in the conference room fixing the satellite monitor.
The reception and sound wasn't too clear since the explosion and every thing
had to be in working order before the inquiry by London House.
Alex and Cassie were in the control room downloading files of the
books that were destroyed in the explosion. Nick came into the room
and said, "I'm beat. I can't get the stupid thing to work. We're under
the gun to get things back in order before the dudes from London House
get here."
Alex replied to her friend, "I'm beat too. Nick, I thought electronics
were your specality? We have to show London that we're still efficient.
Derek is second guessing himself on whether or not he made the right
decision about demolishing the house."
Cassie said to Nick, "Would you like me to help you with fixing the
satellite?" He said that he'd like that very much.
